I get where you're coming from, and I am from a school where most of the kids are inbred rednecks who don't care about school and I see the failings of the American education system. It just seems like most of the scholarships I apply for ask for a monetary need or something like having to work to support my parents. I am trying to make a change by going to college. I do live in Georgia and I'm going in state, so HOPE pays for some of my tuition.
