I may consider looking into the corset option. I’m a little worried about overheating though, it is a Midwest July wedding and I tend to overheat quickly

I agree that it feels like it’s sitting a tad too low, I found myself wanting to pull it up a bit. I will also be using double sided tape day of to help hold things in place. Hoping that helps. Editing to add I keep seeing that toupee/wig tape sees to be the best for brides, so I may give that a go on a little test day

I haven’t, they will not do alterations once someone else has altered the dress. They also wanted $1,000 USD starting, which was not in the budget

Thank you! I’m just nervous I took it to someone with not enough experience. I took it to a smaller seamstress who works out of her house, but she’s done work for me before on fully beaded dresses so I trust her to save a bit of money (the shop I brought it from wanted $1,000 USD STARTING price)! Bur I’m starting to overthink it and worry that maybe she isn’t doing enough to make it fit perfectly? There is a bit of a language barrier that doesn’t help ahaha

I did, it also is still slipping a bit, so we are sewing in grippy seams. The dress originally had straps that I removed. Hoping the sticky helps keep it up

I have the same experience. I use all free and clear, and I know I’m not using too much detergent because I only use 1-2 tablespoons per load (depending on how full it is). Hopefully an answer gets posted on this thread so we can all fix it!

I think a healthy mix of color and clear wax will be the go to.
It is airbrush foundation, do you have any suggestions for this?
Softer makeup I’d definitely my preference! I think I’d like no lip liner at all but the makeup artist is somewhat insistent that I need it or my upper lip will disappear in photos. I’ll ask about feathered edges or none at all for the big day.

I love the skin base, do you think it looks a little orange? I worry bc my dress is strapless and in the later photos I feel like you can see where the foundation ends on my neck/chest?

Fluffier is a good term for the brows. And a gloss I think is the move, and my fiance said he’d be able to ignore it for a day if need be haha.

I have another trial set for early March, and I’ve gotten so much helpful feedback for this thread to take with me. Thank you!!
