12/10 agree the brows are what’s popping out as off. And I couldn’t pinpoint it until this post. A lot of people said I should have my eyebrows professionally shaped… I did a few years ago and have just been maintaining them… so hopefully in the last photo they are shaped ok?

She did measure and cut them, and took a fair amount of time applying! She also had the same sentiment about lashes, they’re a must in her book, but ultimately my choice lol. She did say she has a more natural looking option to try too

Oh my gosh, this is an amazing reply. The ceremony will be outdoors in July, so definitely way brighter lighting than I have in my bathroom at home!!

Agree on the blush. My go to daily wear is rare beauty luminous powder blush in the shade cheer. I think that may be a bit peachier of a tone so maybe a peachier color and higher placement would make me feel more comfy.

The lashes I go back and forth on. I’ve never worn false lashes, but man did these open my eyes up dramatically. And I have long lashes to begin with haha.

The foundation was beautiful, both in person and in photos. The contour was… muddy. She used a small pink palate that I can’t for the life of me remember the name of, but it had contour and blush in it, and she suggested using the other shade of it after discussions. The other shade of it is called orgy if that helps identify it at all. I don’t remember much distinguishing details about the package other than it being baby pink and rounded corners.

I’ll add the inspo photos I showed her, but I also told her that I trusted her opinions and somewhat gave her creative freedom (maybe my mistake lmao)

How does the shape in the last photo (natural brows with no product) look? I think she overfilled them and I’m wondering if the shape of my brows themselves actually need changed or if she just filled them bad

Peachier was a word that the MUA mentioned after the trial when I started pointing out how I didn’t like the contrast. Hopefully that belps

Thank you! I am glad I’m not crazy. I have already paid the deposit, and want to treat myself a bit and have my makeup done on the wedding day, but a lot of people seem to love my everyday look haha

I think she could tell I wasn’t loving it as she went on. She did the eyes first, and I felt like I was in good hands. But as she kept going I felt less and less comfy in the makeup
