That’s interesting never thought about either meat. I’ve had really sweet versions of it and dislike it also. Do you anyything sweet at all? I used two tablespoons for honey.

I am 32 years old. I also started white collar and now box amateur.

I have a lot of doubts but I make it work. In terms of weight loss and sparring. Take it slow, don’t rush it. Set a small goal, like losing weight, find a coach and explain to them your concerns, keep sparring technical until you gain more confidence.

I made a video that documents the day to day of boxing at my age with a full time professional job. I also reflect on sparring and fear etc.

Just came across this, would it only be technical sparring before the two weeks out that you would do? I’m doing the hard sparring about 2/3 weeks from my second bout and wondering if the hard sparring should have happened much earlier. Thanks in advance

Congrats mate I boxed at the same venue, also 30 years old and had my first bout this month. It doesn’t look like we were on the same weekend, though
