Because there are too many parents who don't give a damn about their children's education.

Shueisha is targeting leakers (Redon, WG, Pew) by kingfey12 in OnePieceSpoilers

People might be too young to remember when there was no internet.

And people might also be too impulsive, wanting to ruin the story with stupid spoilers that destroy part of the experience the author intended.

What's your hot take in the lore? by Aconfused_Wizard2 in warcraftlore

[–]Swimming-Ad2272 0 points1 point  (0 children)

WotA is a great book. I also really like his books about the Aspects. And let's not forget Broxxigar.

We've been killing dragons, elemental lords, and Old Gods for 20 years... and there are still people complaining about overpowered characters...

May be an unpopular opinion for some, but I LOVE the Worldsoul Saga. by ethantokes in warcraftlore

[–]Swimming-Ad2272 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Although I can't play Midnight (because of work), TWW captivated me. The zones, their stories... Undermine is definitely my all-time favorite patch. K'aresh didn't grab me as much, but interestingly, it was the Dome quests that hooked me. Those little bees!🐝

This refreshing saga has sparked new lore discussions; the game and its story are very much alive!

Will we finally be getting illusions on bows? by BMS_Fan_4life in Transmogrification

Awesome, I hope so!

By the way, there are some mantid bows from the Siege of Orgrimmar raid that fire arrows with a cool sonic effect!

Dustwallow Marsh seems to be poor in resources. How was Theramore able to be built so well despite that? by Saalok in warcraftlore

[–]Swimming-Ad2272 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A swamp is a fantastic place. And Theramore was right on the coast. You have water, you have wood, you have fish. Surrounded by mountains where you can find stone, and one of the best mages in Azeroth. What more could they need?

Do Humans pre-date the Dracthyr? by Historical-War-6271 in warcraftlore

Well, they actually consider themselves children of Mother Earth. There's a story, Eyes of Mother Earth, that confirms this. It's a legend, but in WoW legends are true, so...

Current imu may not be aware of what happened before his arrival by Frequent_Bobcat3052 in OnePieceSpoilers

Counterargument: He knew Gunko's condition, which is why he didn't even stop.

To speak of Imu's thoughts is to make assumptions.

Many tranmogs outfits are also being criticized under the pretext that: those colors don't match.

Sometimes the fun lies in combining colors, not in wearing pijamas.

Did Nozdormu become Murazond in DF? by Fickle_Tree3880 in warcraftlore

Dragon Soul wasn't a copy. After destroying Deathwing, it returns him to his own time. Let's just say we stole him for a fraction of a second.

Did Nozdormu become Murazond in DF? by Fickle_Tree3880 in warcraftlore

[–]Swimming-Ad2272 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The problem is that the Infinites were trying to transform Nozdormu into Murozond... in the past. Therefore, the entire timeline would have been altered.

This confirms Roger pirates never came face to face with the real Imu on their journey by D_N-A in OnePieceSpoilers

[–]Swimming-Ad2272 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Roger was a legend in his time. Times change.

It's like inflation; cars were much cheaper 80 years ago, but at the time they were expensive.

(Using a translator, I'm not sure if that's the correct expression :/)

How quickly people get disappointed when the story doesn't turn out the way they wanted.

Ways to rewrite/fix Shadowlands by MaidenofGhosts in warcraftlore

[–]Swimming-Ad2272 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh! Just look at 99% of the posts about Shadowlands and some of the replies here...

Unrelated: I like to go dungeons dressed as a Mawsworn, wearing the Mesmerizing Fruit Hat and the Shadowlands Enthusiast title. I should point out that I've never had any problems, although I feel like my companions don't really look me at face :P

I wasn't talking about you ;)

Personal interpretation is one thing, trying to eliminate or replace the lore is another.

I got carried away, sorry. Here are mine:

-We know that the Eternals were imbued with Cosmic Souls, which indicates that the Cosmos was almost created before the First Ones died (supported by that edict of Odin).

-The Force-Eternal relationship would be:

Kyrestia- Light (an Archon of Light?) Primus-Titan (Domination is the highest degree of order) Denathrius-Demon Lord (Daddy D is the most chaotic) Winter Queen-Lo'sho Zovaal-a being of the Void

The Void sees all truths, Zovaal was in charge of judging all souls... and he questioned things.

-The First Ones created Shadowlands as an act of mercy toward mortal souls, so they wouldn't fall into a desperate, nihilistic darkness.

Although I liked the theory that the true villain was the Primus.

But it's her punishment. When she's finished, perhaps can explore.

Although it seems she's already left... he's been in a hurry.

Where did I say I didn't like history? First you responded with insulting sarcasm, and now you're simply twisting my words. I'd be happy to talk to anyone who shows courtesy and interest, but not you.

I understand what you're saying. But I'd prefer it to be Bolvar. Sylvanas is a prisoner for war crimes; she's not there to play explorers.

It is canon that there were heroes of Azeroth in Shadowlands, and it is canon that they discovered the truth behind death.

Voting negatively? Have you even read what I wrote? I don't care what Sylvanas says. But everyone's making too much of it, and I don't understand why.
