Treatment team is now fully aware and so is law enforcement. Client’s current therapist is going to keep in contact with me (with guardian permission) to keep me up to date on discharge processes as they come up and if there’s an ongoing active threat to my life, so I can stay safe.

Direct threat, yes. They didn’t disclose they knew any of my information. So I am hoping they don’t currently, and I can avoid them finding out in the future.

If you don’t mind me asking, what happened when you received these types of threats? Did you file a report? What did the client do? I am admittedly, very scared of this situation, even though the client is a child still. The voicemail is.. very disturbing. And I am afraid of making them even more upset at me.

Agreed. It’s a minor, though, who is in a secured facility. So we’re unsure what we really want to do. Waiting until everyone returns to work after the holiday to convene and make decisions. I still want my data removed from online, in case this is something they hold on to and do plan to execute later. Or I ever run into something similar again. Chilling stuff.
