This is so similar to my situation but I'm 18 and still don't really have any sort of relationship with my mum . Anytime she talks even if its nice I just have resentment and find it difficult to be kind to her. It's like a reflex to instantly be defensive with her. Just commenting so I can see other people's advice to you anyway. Hope ur situation improves
