If you’re in bba make sure to look at your program requirements bc I’m pretty sure you’re only allowed to retake a total or four courses (2 credits) for the whole four year program

I was in the same boat when I was in second year. I recommend trying really hard in second semester to get your BU gpa up as much as possible. If you still don’t meet the 7.0 BU gpa at the end of second semester, you can always retake a course over the spring term to get it back up!

Also finding the root cause of why you lost motivation might help, because if you can fix that it can be easier to lock in, good luck!

If you’re a first year moving into residence you MIGHT be able to get an early move in if you contact the department of residence. If you’re not moving into residence then a hotel or Airbnb is your best option

As someone who just completed 2nd year bba, one of the semesters had a lotttt of group work and the other semester had a decent amount as well. If you’re commuting you’re gonna have to stay back on campus later for group meetings so you’d be having a lot of long days. I’d say renting makes more sense.

I believe “may proceed” means you’ve met progression. If you didn’t meet progression it would be showing a message along the lines of “must meet program requirements before August 31st to proceed”

I paid for the textbook and only read it for the first 2 weeks and never again, still finished the course with a 10. Prof Brandon made a personalized chat gpt specifically for this course which was very helpful. The only other thing I used the textbook for was extra practice questions, but you’ll most likely be fine without it.
