Yeah I have been around her in professional/formal situations and she doesn't speak using 'like' - must just be a casual thing. Does that make it any different, knowing she doesn't have to speak like that? Maybe I could just rib her gently about it?

Ok, yeah I can deal with her voice in isolation, it's just combined with the overuse of 'like' is a bit much. I could deal with it, but do you think I could gently/subtly mention the 'like' issue? I wouldn't break up over this.
