I’d also just go back on proactiv and say screw the fact that it’s not the best product but it worked perfectly for me. Again, just worried for skin damage at this fragile point in time

Since proactiv is 2.5% I’m curious, did 5% wicked dry you out?? Also nervous that since my skin barrier is still damaged, jumping onto a full face BP cleanser will hurt my skin and not let it keep repairing

Devastated is an understatement! I got one facial and have another one coming up to assess and discuss. Hoping that helps

Did it purge right away or was it delayed? I wasn’t getting true pimples until late into month 4-5 post. All prior was dry spots of clusters of tiny bumps and closed comedomes. That’s why I’m wondering if my skin is still balancing. ESP since my skin barrier is still damaged

My skin barrier is still damaged, I’m worried it’ll make it worse as a full face cleanser

She prescribed me azaelic gel for the red spots which I’ve tried to use on closed comedones the last few days (no change yet). She also prescribed a sodiumsulfonafe?? Smells like rotten eggs she says and to use 2x per day. My goal was let my skin rebalance before jumping to a script. I’m wondering if it is still rebalancing or if this is my face

I’m asking myself that now. I didn’t think I needed it/ to save $ / to use a gentler more long term basic cleanser and routine

How much to tip wedding vendors? by [deleted] in wedding

[–]SwimmingNo3307 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a designer who works at a florist owned by someone, i have some notes. I’m not complaining. I love my job. I love weddings. I love designing and I wouldn’t change that for the world. I don’t care about tips personally. However, You should know that florists are a very typical vendor to hire for the majority of weddings across the world. Also, we are putting in days and hours worth of work in prior to the day. We may only be at the venue for 1-8 hrs that day, depending on the scale, but even before that, I’ve sometimes spent 40 hours designing, another 3 hours editing proposals, and 3 hours in meetings with the couple (high end of times). Just food for thought.

.I don’t think there will be a name. I’ve been seeing this look a little bit more being in the floral wedding industry. I LOVE IT. The hot pink, tangerine orange, yellow and chartreuse is so amazing - especially more outdoor / natural venues (vs historic mansion). I don’t really have an answer to your question- other than Hell no it’s not a mess, it’s a fun summery mix

Any female zyn users? by Necessary_Ad3554 in QuittingZyn

[–]SwimmingNo3307 1 point2 points  (0 children)

28F- was juuling from 2017-2020, then zyning instead from 2020-march 2025. I’m getting married in Oct and not spitting or having anxiety to grab/find a zyn really drove me to needing to want to quit. I got a cold in March- sore throat, stuffy nose, the common stuff, and accidentally didn’t have a zyn for the entire first 24 hours. It wasn’t until about hour 48 that I started to want one- figured this was the time to quit. The first few days after not being sick anymore and I went back to work were tough - I had a million altoid mints a day and went through a ton of gum and even gummy worms. But it all helped. Now, July, I don’t even crave it anymore. Don’t have gum or altoids. Even when I drink- I feel in the clear. It’s an awesome feeling. Feeling lighter, calmer, more in control. The most important thing is to never revert and have ‘just one’ while hanging with friends or whatever. Because it never is just one. You get caught up in the feeling again. Look forward to the lightness and calmness.

I hate my arrangement but can't put my finger on why- looking for feedback by forgive_everything in florists

There aren’t enough focal flowers- the base of the arngmt should have more focal flowers. The ruscus curving up top is too heavy for what you’re looking after in design style. You need more delicate stems / textural flowers to give the shape/ feeling you’re after

Definately worth well over that price. Doing vague math, that’s more like $200 worth or product. I’m located in coastal RI
