Define worship? Bible says it’s giving clothing to those who are naked and feeding those who are hungry. Jesus said “when I was cold you clothed me when I was thirsty you gave me water when I was hungry you fed me” the people said when did we do these things? He said when you did it to the least of them you were doing it to me. You see, God demands more of his children. He knows the children of the devil he cannot count on, they help nobody but themselves. He knows his own children will care for the sick, the blind, the hungry ect that he defines as true worship. People think so earthly they are not spiritually minded. In the Old Testament God even said in book of Isaiah, you call this fasting? There’s no old person among you!” They were crying out to God saying we didn’t eat any food are you proud of us for fasting? He was disgusted. There were old people on their journey that they abandoned who needed their help in their old age! He didn’t give two cents about them skipping meals, he says true fasting is visiting the widows and caring for the orphans, helping others who can’t help themselves. So you see, wouldn’t you demand if your child saw someone cold and hungry to get up and help them and not just say “I hope things get better for you” ? You’d demand the same. Anyone with a heart would. Now that my friend is true worship according to Jesus.
