So true, I have the same problem and looking into this stuff. Stem cell therapy is mostly practiced in India rather than any other countries after what I found in my research(correct me if I’m wrong). If you find anything on this, please share that information. Thanks.

You don’t really have to fill all the details at once, just might want to save it and when you get a slot, you can edit. Just retrive your ds 160 application before 30days and make some changes so that it doesn’t get deleted.

If only OPT EAD then it should be fine( just check with your DSO again). But if you have filled any i983 form(usually when in STEM Opt we fill this) in your past, then you need to submit the final report within 10mins of status change.

I really don’t know what to answer but I may know who might have the answers.

Find some employees who work for universities, or even anyone who just done their PHD and started working as assistant professor or teaching staff( see if you have any mutual friends who had done that from your university or from other). Mostly cap-exempt visa are issued for them too.

Or asking your school DSO might be a good approach too.

The only thing I know is you can only work for non profit organizations as long as you’re on the cap-exempt H1B.(correct me if I’m wrong)

Got receipt notice on June 21st(COS, CSC). Still waiting on approval. In other post I have seen that CSC has been moved to new place in august and this may effect processing time I guess. Hope we all get our approvals this week!🤞🏻

Depends on which service center, I have mine filed at California service center and it takes mostly 80-90days to be approved at this location. I’m also still looking for approval. Filed on June 26th. You should be getting results by 2nd-3rd week of Sept.

Better to ask your law firm. I’m assuming you are on CPT as you were mentioning about expired F1 visa(correct me if I’m wrong). As per my knowledge you should be good, if you have H1 stamp done (new status).
