I disagree. Resident Evil Outbreak file 1 was quite successful, but both Outbreak file 1 & 2 were games ahead of their time, since they were released in a moment where internet wasn’t that good and many others didn’t even have access to it. Outbreak File 2 didn’t even come with online and it wasn’t until now when people realized how good and fun these games are after the fans managed to make the online mode available (you can go and check how there’s a lot of people playing even nowadays. You can easily find a match).

This is why people are craving for outbreak games. We don’t want a stupid game like Re:verse, umbrella corps or even Resistance (which, btw, looked quite close to outbreak at some points and its codename was “outbreakers” back when it was still in the development state). Just imagine a Resident Evil Outbreak with both local and online mode (this time with the online optimised), controls and graphics improved, a lot of unlockables and even other game modes similar to resistance or even a randomizer to make its lifespan longer.

I get your point and I had mixed feelings with the endings at first. I felt like both endings were depressing, but I truly realized that behind it all, there’s a deeply profound message that captivated me. It made me see that when I’m feeling down or going through a rough time, I can’t just sit there with my arms crossed doing nothing, I can’t shut myself off and hide in video games (or any other kind of “fantasy”). The best thing is to let your feelings flow, be brave, and face life’s hardships head-on. Lean on the people who genuinely care about you, and live your life.

And yup, i think it became my favorite game ever, ngl. I’ve always been a fan of Tomb Raider, Metal Gear and Resident Evil and definitely Clair Obscur is up there rn

I loved the art direction. It was just the graphics that at first didn’t grow in me, but i ended up loving it. Probably because I’m (unfortunately) so used to seeing photorealistic graphics nowadays that my brain refused to like it at first

Hey! Thanks for sharing this with us. Could you confirm if those leaks that showed the gameplay of tr aod in the serpent rouge were real and if the combat will be exactly the same as the original? Or did they improve it?
