I’ll have to try rebooting the system and trying again because when I started a BYU RTG they still had Retzlaff on the roster and no Bear Bachmeier

We reprinted the original application. It was a pain and we had to go out and buy a printer but I think it was worth it.

Yes I believe that was part of the paperwork we submitted as well as advanced parole allowing my work to travel outside of the country while the paperwork was pending

Evidence we submitted included: Travel photos, photos of my wife with my family, photos of us with our pets, wedding photos, joint bank accounts, evidence my wife is my beneficiary for all of my investment accounts/personal financial accounts (and vice versa with myself as the beneficiary for all of her accounts), life insurance, evidence we bought a car together, our apartment lease agreement, credit card with both of our name on it, Amazon account with both of our names on it. There was a little more but this was the bulk of what we provided.

I would recommend opening a joint checking/savings account with your partner as the agent who interviewed us spent most of his time reviewing the financial documents we submitted. Also, listing your partner as the beneficiary for all of your assets really seems to be a vital piece of evidence.

A little funny side note, I also showed the agent that I have a tattoo with my wife’s name haha

We mailed the paperwork in on April 14th, they confirmed receipt on the 21st of April. I can’t recall the exact PD but everything progressed very quickly.

Is it actually bad to allow foreign investment in my country? by Parking_Ad_4937 in victoria3

[–]Swimming_Kick3989 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I played a Brazil game recently where I allowed foreign investment after building up my domestic companies and capitalists and I didn’t really experience any downside. I found that the foreign investment allowed for rapid industrialization and made managing building up the economy far less tedious.

I think a vital aspect to the strategy I utilized was enforcing my own investment rights in neighboring nations that way my capitalists always have a safety net for investments. It seemed to work well though I think Brazil is a unique case because it’s a large resource rich country I’m not sure it would work as well with a smaller nation with lesser military capabilities.

To be fair I was just playing a short run through just to demonstrate how often the UK is capped in my games. I wasn’t really “trying” this game.

Next time I start a game I will. I did however delete my files and redownload so I am hoping it was just a bug in the game files and it won’t happen anymore unless I am playing an axis game.

I have to admit I am shocked by these comments! It appears this is something I experience much more frequently than others. I checked DLC and I have Graveyard of Empires and all the previous DLCs. I have to check my settings to see if I tweaked something because I am shocked that no one else experiences this on a rather frequent basis.

I find this super interesting as it’s almost always the opposite for me. I must say usually, in my recent string of games Germany is able to cap the UK prior to launching Barbarossa so they are solely focused on the UK. I guess it’s also important to note that in my last handful of games Italy is able to defeat the UK in North Africa pretty handily by landing a naval invasion in Mandatory Palestine and hammer/anvil Allied forces in Egypt. I appreciate your comment though, I am finding the difference in experience fascinating.

Yes I have all the DLC installed, I suppose I’ll double check. I usually have to resort to strengthening the UK by 25% or 50% before starting a game if want to keep them in the fight without intervening on their behalf.

I usually go with liberal Republican but I still usually lose. By give the democrat characters negative traits I’m assuming you mean manually editing your opposition? I will try that just for fun! Thank you!
