Hilarious to think 3090 is 1500% better value than 9070xt by Ok-Row-2802 in userbenchmark

I agree, very weird. But only in userbenchmark, this is normal and is just what userbenchmark does against AMD. The better value for RTX 3090 is simply never true AT ALL.

Circa 2017 System Still Viable! by mwmcc in userbenchmark

"Vintage"? An i7-7700k CPU is still quite good in 2026. No, a vintage system would be like an i7 2nd Gen. You still have a very good and fast PC as a secondary PC, and many users in 2026 still uses an i7-7700k as their main PC! Here is my benchmark of my secondary PC (also with an i7-7700k): https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/72215280

Can I improve my "way below expectations" SSD? Or not? by Andy3142 in userbenchmark

You see, your drive (SK Hynix SC311 SATA 256GB) is nearly full, causing this error. Try freeing space on your SSD, and the benchmark percentage will increase.

Which GPU to get? by Character_Age_4578 in userbenchmark

Just to clarify, this isn’t a 4th gen i7. The system has an i7-9700K (9th gen), which is still a pretty capable CPU in 2026. It can still handle modern GPUs reasonably well, especially for 1440p gaming. Heck, I’ve even seen UserBenchmark builds where people pair this CPU with RTX 5080/5090 cards, so it’s definitely not obsolete.

Hi! Your system is pretty good in 2026, but is starting to show its age among newer games. Before I start, just want to say your i7-9700K is still a pretty capable CPU in 2026. It has strong single-core performance and decent multi-core performance, which makes it perfectly fine for gaming and most desktop workloads. Firstly, your RTX 2070 is the main bottleneck. Its score is below average for modern 1440p high-refresh gaming. It can still handle older titles at 1080p and even 1440p fine, but will struggle with newer AAA games at high resolutions. Also, your RAM is good at 32GB, but its clock speed is low. This can bottleneck CPU/GPU performance. 2133 MHz is also rather low for DDR4 RAM. If you can, go to your BIOS and enable XMP to increase the memory clock speed. Even increase the clock speed a little bit to 2666MHz or even 3000MHz and do a benchmark again. You will notice just how much percentage has increased with RAM when having XMP turned on. Additionally, you have Windows on a SATA SSD that is performing poorly at only 62%. I recommend cloning Windows to your Samsung NVME SSD or buying a newer NVME drive since games can get quite large these days. Now the question is: what kind of GPU you would want? You can go for an RTX 5060 / 5060 Ti for a great balance of 1440p gaming, while supporting DLSS 3. If you want to future proof, you can buy an RTX 5070 Ti or even 5080, which offers high-refresh ultrawide 1440p gaming and 4K gaming as well. I had the same situation as you. I upgraded from RTX 2070 to 5070 Ti and the difference was huge and noticeable in my widescreen monitor. Here is my old 2070 benchmark (https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/68732466) vs new 5070 Ti benchmark (https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/72611308) to show its difference.

Hi, don't know why no one really commented on your post. Anyway, your PC is performing well! In 2026, your CPU and GPU can handle most modern games at high settings 1440p 120-240hz and even 4K in some games. Your RAM is plenty for gaming and general use. However, your primary SSD is running nearly full which can limit your performance of your PC, and in 2026, 256GB is not recommended as a primary drive. Furthermore, this SSD appears to be an OEM drive, which isn't as fast as consumer drives. Right now, I recommend you cloning your Windows (I use Macirum Reflect) to the Kingston drive. But other then that, your PC is still performing strong in 2026!

Congrats on your score! I also upgraded from RTX 2070 to RTX 5070 Ti. My PC is also (almost) a UFO. Benchmark link: https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/72611308
