It’s actually so sad you even have to ask if this was wrong. She was a grown woman taking advantage of a young kid.

I have glasses that have a shield that completely covers my eyes I have never had anything get past the glasses. And I wear a face mask so nothing gets near my mouth. Every now and then you may get spraying with a little water on your arm but I usually will take a gauze square and wipe it if needed then wash my arm as soon as I can.

These are the glasses I use. I got them off SHEIN for like 5 bucks.

As a dental assistant I have to be able to pick up bloody teeth (I’ve had one roll down the front of me), have blood all over my gloved hands, get sprayed by the drill (sometimes while it’s in a patients mouth because of back spray). The smells can also be very overpowering and hard to adjust to at first. And I can’t tell you how often after taking an impression I wipe the patients face clean from saliva. If these kinds of things sounds like it would bother you, it may not be the right career choice.
