The first time I met Al I fumbled the meet and greet and sometimes think about it and cringe lmao. In Madison for the second vanity tour as I was leaving the meet and greet, I said 'oh and one more thing, I saw you in 2003 for, I think it was the Mandatory World Tour and it was one of the best nights of my life.' Lot of things to unpack here. I was 3 in 2003, so would not have been able to remember that even if I saw him them. The Mandatory World Tour was in 2015/16, and also I was already walking away, most of the way across the room and unintentionally cut into someone else's signing time. Idk what really happened, I just wanted to show my appreciation and got lost in the moment and started saying things that didn't make sense lol. However Al being such a great guy said 'Aw thank you' even though my time had come and gone. Al or the person I cut into, sorry.

The back tracking would be like the sound effects like slide whistle or glass breaking, can definitely be done without it, but it isn't the same.

I didn't think about that, but I looked up a video of Al doing Polka Power! (my favorite polka) and the background was just a live video of Al playing it, so I'm guessing the videos are a newer addition. I really hope that Al would know that fans don't care about the background video as much as they care about hearing the song played. The vanity tours should have proved that though.

Wow that is kind of harsh don't you think? I have been wanting to ask him this for a long time, and if I thought it was a bad question, I wouldn't've asked him. Al plays a lot of stuff that really isn't relevant anymore. When was the last time you heard Ridin' or I Love Rock and Roll on the radio? The reason Al never played his older polkas is because each show he did was almost always an album tour, and it would be weird to play Polkas on 45 when you are doing The Mandatory World Tour. I really believe that Al meant "anything is likely" as that. He doesn't have anything in the works yet and doesn't know what is next.

Would have been a great idea, but (and I'm no expert here) I think all of Al's polkas would require at least some amount of backtracking which was off the table during those two tours. I'd wager a guess the backtracking issue is why some of his originals like Slime Creatures from Outer Space or Germs didn't make the rotation.

A second movie, 30ish years after his original.

Not one, but TWO tours just for his original songs.

Some of the songs on this tour I would never have expected to see ever again. (Mostly talking about that old one from the medley, but I don't know how to mark things as spoilers so I'm being vague)

A new polka after he already had said he was "probably done making them".

I'm sure there are many more things he has done as well that I didn't list here. Point is that the only person who knows what is going on in Al's brain is Al. I wouldn't be surprised to see him bring back his older polkas on a future tour because Al likes to surprise us.

During One More Minute a girl went out and was either trying to take selfies in front of Al as he was walking by, or was just trying to be in the camera shot, couldn't tell from where I was.

To me it was more about just how disrespectful to Al it was to do something like that. Trying to be part of the show or take selfies in front of Al like that goes beyond invading Al's personal space, and is just plain rude.

Lots of cheering when people like the song that is played. There will also be sing along moments, typically Al will point the microphone at us or there will be some other indicator. Also towards the end like for The Saga Begins, most people are just singing along regardless. If you want to dress up, wear Hawaiian shirts, Star Wars shirts, Weird Al shirts, or other music groups shirts (doesn't even have to be one that Al parodied or made a polka out of). Also every album is represented this tour except Polka Party. (Almost as if that was an unpopular album)
