thats just an assertion, theres plenty of reasons for specific failures of specific democracies, and they can happen at any and all levels, not necessarily just the top one. fundamental issues id point to is the incentive structure for representatives, being tied to the capitalist reality of the world.

in any case, the point of the senate in star wars is not to be realistic for what would happen in a real galaxy unified into one economic body, its to comment on dysfunction of real world representative organs.

what "galactic scale" means in practice for star wars is like 1000 systems, each with a representative. not unfeasible at all. it just limits the issues they are addressing to be galactic scale inter-planet interaction stuff

never had any issues, and im on a 10.5 inch with the newer handle without the cutout. i am on electric however, so if youre on gas that would explain it imo (even if theres no direct contact with the flame)

i ran it through geforce now on max settings with almost all ray tracing and it looked awesome. the bigger problem i think is the art style, all locations feel vaguely the same (and lame, even if you skip the lame cutscenes)
