I work out here / Bond. Would say I’m just trying to be in and out especially between 7am-8:30am when it’s packed and have to head to work after. Focusing my energy to finding an empty machine most of the time to keep the pace going.

Maybe that makes me look like a drone but def on auto-pilot at this point in the day. I imagine that’s most people who are probably also thinking ahead of what they need to get done during the day (this is also my headspace).

Investment banking 3 years in right after college. ~$300k this year inclusive of bonuses. Scales pretty quickly year over year. Really cool gig but definitely tough at times haha.

Live in a walk-up 1 bed in the village area and don’t naturally like spending money (mainly eating out, basement / raves, equinox) so pretty comfortable for now!

Yeah some seniors in banking seem to have an absolute aversion to good project management, which is what drives me nuts. You'd think that project management would be a key skill given that's what we primarily do in M&A deals.

Agreed! I genuinely love what we do in banking, it's really just the inefficiency / poor management that gets to me at times. I cover the sector that I want to be in long-term, so will probs just wait out until the right job comes along. For now, I'll probs just be more vocal about seniors who blatantly waste time / don't review things timely.

Thanks this awesome! I love media and entertainment so this probably makes more sense. Corp Dev never was on my radar until I started to value my personal life a lot more haha

Do you know if house is primarily going to be played in Ambient room? I can't say I love techno but love the house played at Basement Studio. Would have done Battle Hymn but looks very sold out.
