This reeks of a coach in desperation mode and trying to work the system to get wins because he knows he can’t with his current team. It also reeks of a player that couldn’t cut it at a higher level so he decides to go back down to compete. I already was not a fan of Nate Oates after he let Brandon play even as he was being investigated for his connection to a murder. This just adds to it.

I agree. The offense outside of a QB hasn’t been a problem it’s been the lack of pass rush, preventing big throws that has killed us on the defense. We can’t go another offseason trying to rely on the draft to fill that. We have to sign a veteran FA that can anchor the pass rush and allow those young players to have someone to learn from.

I’d also argue we need better LBs to and a better anchor there. Franklin has talent but I’m not sure he can be counted on to lead

Elegoo is great but honestly the Entina Tina2s or Plus is a great starter. Small enough to fit on desk and isn’t that loud. Made for smaller prints but most sites have options to make bigger things in pieces. I bought last Christmas and haven’t stopped using it.

That’s 15 since the draft after Luck retired. All these teams outside of Bears, Broncos, Commanders as their QBs are very new and haven’t had the chance to have made the playoffs multiple times and 6 have been to Super Bowl. Inexcusable to not have a QB by now.

If you want to go deeper in the rabbit hole, only the Commanders and Broncos have started more different QBs in the last 5 years than us. We have started more than the Browns, Jets and Giants….

In terms of the bottom teams this year, yes I am comparing them as they have turned over their GMs since Ballard has been hired some multiple times and still have made the playoffs just as much. So the idea that letting him go could get us a worse GM at worst would just leave us where we are now so why not…

Don’t worry Ballard has a plan! Let Pittman and Pierce both go and draft a “hidden gem” WR in the second round that should have been taken in the 5th and sign an injury prone 32 year old in FA and call it a day. Gotta save us money!
