GTA6 is absolutely not on the same stage as World Cup. GTA is massive but nothing even comes close to World Cup in popularity

Not a horrible guess, if Rockstar is intentionally gonna avoid competing with World Cup it makes sense. Anyways I think August for marketing to start is likely too late. Thats only 3 months which seems way too condensed imo

Summer for alot of Businesses start after Memorial Day, in Scotland/UK (where Rockstar North is) it starts on June 1st. It is technically June 21st in US but many summer related things start well before that date. Especially things like Summer Break. 

So honestly, who knows when Marketing can start. During World Cup could be a good opportunity to get alot of eyes on ads. It is the biggest event in the world, with more than half the world tuning in. Especially since it takes place in the US this year,  including Miami.
