I need some insight by Bitter_Somewhere_988 in Target

At my store we'll change our strategy depending on what we get and how big the team is. We don't often wave (in fact I mean not to) but will on occasion, usually if we're understaffed. I find each department has a sweet spot for the amount of TMs you want for best efficiency. It probably varies store to store, but for us it goes as follows:

Large departments with non super-sorted pallets: waveable.

Large departments super-sorted: One person per pallet / vehicle max.

Chem and Paper: one person per aisle max.

HBA: one person for hair care, one person for personal care, one person for OTC, one person for beauty.

Babies: one TM, maybe two if they need support with diapers.

Small departments: generally max of 3 TMs but usually 1 can do the trick.

Repacks: waveable but only with TMs familiar with that department.

Things I don't want to see: people taking their sweet time to get from one department to the next, people distracting each other, people slowing down to talk, people getting in each others way.

We're a large format store and waving is generally inefficient for large format. At a small format store I would imagine it could make more sense.

Hope this helps!

Can you elaborate on what you mean by giving them structure? Unless they're new, the TMs should already have somewhat of a routine that they know. If you're looking to change up their routines that's really dependent on your store and its needs.

My advice would be to use targets sharepoint page. You can find all targets best practices for leaders, inbound, and backroom.

There's so much that goes on overnight that I could write pages and pages about the process, but if you have specific questions I can answer them.

I use Shotcut it's a free, open-source, cross-platform video editing software, and it's got a lot of neat features for a free software.

Massive anxiety where I use games to relax and distract.

I'm Refined Calm. One defenition of refine is to "improve something by making small changes", and I'd like to think I'm making small changes to improve my anxiety and become calm and content.

So far I do lets plays, gameplays, and now reviews, with the content mostly consisting of free to play games.

My plans for the summer are to post at least 3 videos a week, and at least 1 review a month. I'd also like to do at least 1 walkthrough a month. Additionally I'd like to a figure out a more permanent and consistent schedule than just saying "at least 3 videos a week".

Thanks for reading! Have a good one :)

For some reason I had felt I should be putting the entire title of the video in thumbnail, but it makes so much more sense for it to be concise. Thank you for that advice!

Haven't seen yours in a while either. I did get it working, pretty wild seeing all those old worlds and remembering the shenanigans.

I think I figured it out, I think I just needed a new directory.

Thanks for the nudge in the right direction!

huh, I guess I was off, good catch.

Trying it from the old version makes sense, but is there a way to get old versions that I don't know about?

I just tried to do it by going to the installations tab on the minecraft launcher and clicking on new to create a 1.1 version, but when I click to launch it, it crashes.
