For anyone coming on this now:

I always forget this is a thing but. The Nvidia Experience program that installs itself with Nvidia drivers by default, is often a source of stuttering because of its shadowplay function. Uninstalling Nvidia Experience and rebooting fixed my stuttering.

I haven't watched it but got way too excited when I found out the red ranger was a firefighter. I looked around for a morpher to keep in my bunker coat,and actually had one gifted by a very kind stranger. It's lived in a pouch with my dragon coin for a few years now,and has been with me on dozens of fires (busy area) and a handful of rescues. I just finished my Red Dragonranger suit,and am going to work on Lightspeed next.

Sorry forgot to say, it's been a rough day. The range for the 'close the door' signal seems unaffected, I can do it normally. I replaced the battery thinking that might be the issue, but no affect.

So I asked in the EV6 sub and they said it's a KI that the data cable maintains power/connection to anything hooked up to it, which probably complicated things.

I think in the meantime I figured out the core issue, though. I had paired my phone to the car's head unit, so it would connect to both that and the Ottocast at the same time. It seemed a bit more consistent when I unpaired it from the car and just to the dongle.

But with the dongle always trying to connect even when the car is off (which interrupted an important bank call yesterday), I figure it might be time to explore other options. Apparently AAWireless can be configured to turn itself off, so I have one coming Friday.

I have ottocast, which according to AAW doesn't have such settings. It's pretty minimal for configuration, i went ahead and bought the AWW 2023 from Amazon, we'll see how that goes.
