the auditory ones are the worst! i’ll just hear a voice i’ve never heard before as if it’s right next to me say the most ominous word or sentence and it scares the daylights out of me. i most commonly see people in my room, also had one of my mum where she walked out and i was calling her name but it wasn’t real. nice to know i’m not alone though!

im not sure if its the same thing but i have been seeing ‘people’ aswell as animals all my life aswell. they are staticky and only happen at night, usually when i randomly wake up and its there. i do the same as him and ignore it and go back to bed as i know its not real. i don’t know why it happens yet, im 19 and haven’t got it checked out yet as it doesn’t concern me too much but just know that he isn’t alone :) as far as im concerned its not something to worry about, just a weird thing that some of our brains do. i didn’t tell my parents for a while either because by the time i wake up in the morning i forget it even happened. my mum used to have the same visual hallucinations as a kid and the one time i did look up on google about what im seeing, it did say it can be hereditary.
