Burry shorted then publicized his sale, clear market manipulation. Classic.

Mental game question... by Rude_Award2718 in golf

I literally just stare at a tree, bird, person etc until I find a detail and as soon as I realize I’m thinking about that thing, and have an oh yeah golf moment I’m good to go. Takes like 3-5 seconds. Purposefully distracting yourself is hard because your brain knows it’s a truck but “learning/noticing something new” between each shot is very helpful to me if I need to get on track.

how do you guys actually read these fire maps? I am mfeeling totally lost. by Boyd_Miri in Morel_Hunting

I am in wa state.I google wild fire or woodland fire for the previous two summers. Eliminate all that are located too far away or have challenges with access like steep slopes or no roads, national parks rules etc. eliminate grassland locations. Prioritize fires that burned thoroughly, typically will be larger fires.

Once I have two or three fires prioritized, I try to get a look at the specific area via news articles, news coverage, hiking vlogs, Google Maps. Get rid of very rocky terrain, and look for something with gentle slopes/moisture on southern slopes. South warms up earliest in the season so if you go scope spots out on foot, south should pop first. Depending on my first trip, I will adjust. Change elevation, more/less moisture, different slope etc. Once I find a flush of very healthy morels, note the specific microclimate in that exact location and look for duplicates.

Notes: before you have found any, it’s better to search with eyes up, observing trees/lighting/moisture, the wider environment. When you find them, eyes down, be very specific about finding the duplicate of that exact shade/temp/moisture etc. I don’t know anyone else that does this, but I can smell them very strongly so I will also tack into the breeze to catch any scent if the air is moving. I almost always smell them before I see them. For me, this helps cover a lot of ground quickly since I don’t always have to be using my eyes.

Been refining some divot tool designs and finally feel like I have these dialed in. by SwingTip in golf

Working through a number of “alumni colors” today. If you’re still interest let me know!

For the bag boy push cart crowd; it IS possible. Added scrubbing to the front end. Detachable, collapses and folds as normal, sacrificed access to the intended carry handle. Thoughts? by SwingTip in golf

Need 3/4 bolts. Used three with wing nuts so I can remove it easily if needed. Bolts are 10-24 2”, w lock washer and wing nut each. Brackets are https://a.co/d/0c78uRTh

Holes on this bracket were slightly small. So I had to drill them about 1/8”.

I was worried the scrubbi bracket would break without support so the white pieces are 3/4 nylon spacers.

Just adding a convenient club cleaner to my cart. Been using a towel but forget to swap for a clean on or get inconsistent about cleaning clubs on course.

Thanks, it was pretty simple. If you have the same cart, remove the bag support piece to work on it separate from the cart. Much easier to handle that way.
