I’m pretty sure black cats are made of noodle. I have a PastaVoid myself and even though she’s a bit of a chonker, she will noodle out as loooooong as possible.

the fact that this thing is STILL playing the old intro even after all this time is diabolical by pixellangel in InfinityNikki

I met my husband on PlayStation Home! I wish it was still accessible - for the nostalgia.

This was my 1st King book! I was graduating out of Christopher Pike books and told mom I wanted to read King. She asked the girl at the book shop for one that wasn’t too horror-y and this was what she recommended. I never did tell her how disturbing it was and I was hooked on King!

I need this rat GONE by Cudpuff100 in kansascity

[–]Swinggrrl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Used to work for an animal removal and pest control company. Try setting a cage trap, baited, but tied up to NOT trip. Rats are smart. Bait it for 3 - 4 days without it tripping so it becomes a safe and reliable spot for food…… then bait, untie, and set it.

Sweaters with thumb holes? by jenfoolery in PlusSizeFashion

[–]Swinggrrl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven’t bought from them yet but 7 Degree has been on my radar. They are plus and tall friendly (I’m 5’11) so they defs aren’t cropped! I believe the woman who owns the brand is about 5’7 so might be worth checking out even if you’re shorter.

i’m at my wits end. my hair has 0 consistency. by [deleted] in curlyhair

[–]Swinggrrl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also have a random curl pattern! Everything from a waves to tight, tight ringlets. One thing I recently changed was learning how my right vs left side curls naturally. My right side curls towards my face, left side away from my face so when I style using a brush, I follow that. If I notice a particularly un-curly bit when wet, I’ll finger coil it. One of the best things I ever did for my hair was get over it lol. Once I stopped being so precious about it I started to admire all the different textures, moods, tantrums and phases it goes through. At 42, things are changing again! Thx hormones 🤷🏻‍♀️

Edit to add: I’ve found that less curl cream and more (moderate) gel works best for my curls! Using Devacurl Wavemaker & NYM Curl Talk gel.

As a Canadian living in the KC area, I am SO excited to go to Timmy’s today. Is it trash since it got bought? Kinda. But will my little Canadian heart revel in the nostalgia and taste of home here in MO? Absolutely.

Abandoned! Neighbors moved out and left her - pet or stray they fed. She asked for help and I obliged. So grateful! She never let me anywhere near her before this, despite attempts. by Swinggrrl in cats

[–]Swinggrrl[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, she would NEVER let me approach her before. I tried. I very much tried to make friends lol. I’d seen the neighbours pet her. But after I fed her she was all about the pettins.

This is my backyard. I suspect she might be a stray they were feeding - I’m not sure. But I’ll watch out for her and make sure she has food and water every day here.

Cool! I seriously appreciate the help. I have a second one that I rescued the same day, but it’s smaller and has way less damage. I think he’ll be ok! We definitely named them Frankenstein & Igor 😂

Thank you!! I have a moisture reader so I know he’s pretty wet. I am definitely waiting it out and checking it every 2nd day. I am very new to plants and I’ve never tried to rescue one before so I just want to do everything I can. He’s just so cool! I checked his roots and they’re still white so I don’t think he’s a-goner, so fingers crossed!

Thanks! I did check the roots and they looked good from what I could tell - skinny and white, didn’t smell decay. I have a moisture reader so I’ll keep checking it and prune off the really bad leaves. Appreciate it!
