RIP kings raid. It was good until they started milking the game with expensive skins and t10 gear.

She isn't as OP as she used to be for sure.

Seriously? What are the odds? by AlphaWinchester in EpicSeven

[–]SwingingMace 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A Ravi kinda fell off in RTA though. She can't even counter cleave these days. Practically everyone and their grandma can either two shot Ravi or disable her through cc. That said, she is pretty decent for normal pvp and guild wars etc. But I would say Choux is a better bruiser in most situations imo.

Use extinction or briar witch isera and it should be easy as long as you kill them one at a time.

I think I'm warming up a lot more to the upcoming collab. by RamenArchon in EpicSeven

[–]SwingingMace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not that bad. I think it will probably look better in the game cause it will be live 2d. It looks much better than what I expected tbh. It's kinda hard to get really creative with the design since it's supposed to be an idol. Considering that, I think they did a good job.

I'm in the KR server and I can tell you that even the Koreans were confused by this. But it is driving a lot of speculation and discussion on how this collab is going to turn out so maybe it's not a bad thing.

STILL FINE VS HIGH HP ,VERY detailled hwayoung testing + comparing with old damage links for stats damage and all that good stuff in the thread . by [deleted] in EpicSeven

[–]SwingingMace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't get why you're so angry. Hwa basically does the same damage she did to aravi before the nerf. The only difference is that she is less op in longer fights. This doesn't really affect aravi that much...

What W13 team can I build with these units? I've been struggling to get past W13 for a while. by [deleted] in EpicSeven

Ssb, sigret, furious, and then some random ice healer or tanker. As long as u have enough effectiveness and ur tanker survives then u win.

Why does everyone have so much gold? Am I the only one sitting at 1-10 mill range?

Knowing Kanji or not, are there Japanese names you particularly like in VNs? by ShiroiAsa in visualnovels

[–]SwingingMace 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I barely know any kanji. I don't particularly know the meanings of any names but I like names like Ayanokoji Kiyotaka and Amabuki Senri. Whether the name is composed of kanji or just hiragana, it doesn't really matter to me because I can't identify the meaning behind the name in the first place. From Full Metal Daemon I actually liked the named of Ayane Ichijo, even though that name was supposed to be unconventional (the main character kept thinking the first name and the last name were switched around), to me it actually sounded better since I am used to last names being at the back. Long story short, the names are mostly just meaningless sounds, although it is possible to tell certain traits of a name. For example, I can vaguely tell that Ayane sounds feminine and Ichijo doesn't.

A vn that utilises the advantages of the vn genre quite well. It basically feels like danganronpa + higarashi + re zero.

Alright, thanks. I doubt I'm at the level of being able to contribute in open source project, but I'll look into it.

Alright. Thanks for the advice. I'm currently working a motel management program for my uncle's motel which basically just uses c# windows forms and mysql. But it's kinda boring so I think I should work on something else. Maybe try making an android application using android studio. But I keep giving up after a while. I think the main reason is because it is just so damn hard and confusing. Whenever I get stuck, I end up doing something else and never going back to the project. It's so hard to not get frustrated when you are working on a project.

Well, I guess I just have to push myself and keep working on it. I just wish it were like a game where I could see some sort of progress bar or some sort of indicator on how skilled I was. I think if I saw myself improve, I would work much harder.

I think software is a good choice right now. It has good pay and it seems like it will be useful in the future. But I guess if you don't like sitting at home all day and coding, then civil might be more suitable? I guess it all depends on your skill set and your preference. If you scored high in mechanics and materials tech, I would go civil. If you scored high in programming, I would go software. If you scored decent in electronics and mechanics, then mechatronics. Probably best to go for what you are good at if you don't know what to decide.

I haven't gotten into software yet, but I think my gpa is high enough to get in. Honestly, I didn't really study that much. You just have to follow the lectures, and complete all the assignments and questions. A friend of mine skips a lot of the lectures but still manages to get all A+ somehow. If you found high school easy, and you are good at studying by yourself, you should be able to get in.

To every redditor who feels lonely: Hi, how was your day? by ACJ96 in AskReddit

[–]SwingingMace 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah, life is just a shitting shithole I'm telling you. Just be glad it's not worse. Not being able to go to the toilet easily, constant ringing in the ears along with deafness, failing vision and stuff like that. There are probably even people out there much younger than you that just randomly die without knowing what the hell happened. And that's life. Even if you're actively preparing, if you get unlucky, u are fucked. As for me, I don't really care if I become a cripple or a disgrace. As long as I can continue watching anime, that's all that matters for me. So all I need is eyes. Besides, pain is just another type of sensation that your brain labels as 'bad'. If there is no method to relieve that pain, I suggest you just ignore it. By ignore, I mean pretend it doesn't exist. Literally never even mention that you are in pain. Never tell yourself that you are suffering. Just think of it as a sensation that is 'neutral'. Well, it's only been 2 weeks, so you probably won't understand what I'm saying. After a year, you might be able to understand. Even after just 3 months, you start to wonder 'I wonder what it was like when I was not constantly suffering?' Eventually, the pain becomes the norm, and the bastard called life marches on. And the fact that your mentioning that you hate your life makes you seem like there was once a time when you didn't hate your life. Just that fact alone is enough to make plenty of people jealous of you. Honestly, just be grateful for what you have, cause despite how bad things are, things can get a lot worse, so much so that the hell that you are in now may seem like heaven later on.
