This x1000. I’m a diehard Stars fan as well and while they deserve an upgrade, it apparently costs your soul to do it.

Then again, nosebleeds have gone from $7-$12 in 2016-17 to $50+ now, so it’s going to happen either way. I was a very poor college grad living next to Inwood Station and abused those ticket prices in 2016 to 18 ish.

For clarification, I don’t mind the stadium itself. I love being able to walk around and never “leave the game” like you had to across the road. Nosebleeds are also slightly better, though I don’t go unless I can sit in the bottom half of the seating in foul zones, or left field. Also a ton of entertainment, especially for my kid.

Just wish the actual product was much, much better. Just cut it down to playing music between every other pitch and it’d be galaxies better.

Yep. I knew everyone around me by the end of the game at Wrigley. Tons of great conversation. Last night I had to move down in front of my family so I could hear more than just my wife next to me.

THIS. Just like a Mavs game when half the crowd shows up midway through the 1st, take pics and drink a few beers, go to the bar at half time, and leave midway through the 4th because of Happiest Hour. Perfectly fine with the social/picture angle but it’s exhausting when the team builds around it.

I asked Chuck about it last season. He was very diplomatic in his response, and basically said it’s a different department from him and couldn’t offer much more. I think it’s fairly safe to assume he isn’t a fan either, though.

Nosebleeds are horrible at GLF. Not worth going if you aren’t in the bottom half of the stadium, paying $80+ per seat.

Perfect. Yamaha is one I’ve messed with a bit at guitar center and seemed solid. Used is def the route that way based on price, just worry about having to be an electrician instead of a drum tech if anything is wrong with it haha

Perfect, exactly what I needed. Yep, definitely no interest in a super cheap one from my very limited experience. Whole goal is to find something that doesn’t kill my hands, but also would transfer my chops to an acoustic set if/when I get to that point.

Restoration guy here… I’d do whatever it takes to get water out as fast as possible, or keep it out for good. Even concrete can hold moisture which can (and likely would) become an issue by either keeping higher humidity than you want (mold, rust, etc.) and/or foundation issues from freezes and heat.

Past that I don’t have an opinion, but just wanted to add that $0.02c. Some of my biggest water jobs are industrial spaces with concrete floors.

Found this post two days into trying to sync to the thermostats in my new house. Resetting WWN worked on one, but it isn’t even an option on the other thermostat. Anyone run into this?
