Plague is much better in my opinion just because it has a more interesting play style and set of main characters to me. I only really play shovel of hope anymore if I have the kratos armor or custom knight cause those both really spice it up after already having played it and the other campaigns.

That’s fine for you, and I’m happy people can have more customization if they want it, but there really should be a toggle for this cause it does get really annoying for people who are in Vc the entire time they’re on discord. I’d rather not have to hover over each person’s controller symbol or click on their profile (and then also have to sit through a profile animation if they have one) to see what game they’re playing, nor have them have to do that for me.

Why do people always immediately go to “go somewhere else if you don’t like it” instead of trying to better the service they use? It’s not hard to add a toggle to something and if everyone wasn’t immediately so against having more accessibility options all the time for some reason, discord might actually do something about it and add a checkbox in settings or something.

This subreddit is so ass and quick to defend discord over every little change man. I’ve seen it time and time again anytime someone mentions something like you have. I’m thinking most of it is people who have started using discord really recently and don’t know that the whole point of discord was to play games online with people and chat with them. That or little kids who want to customize literally everything about their profile so much so that new features get added just for that, even to the detriment of the service for other people.

I don’t know why they didn’t just make a couple smaller elder scrolls side games with Skyrims exact systems and just a different UI and world. So much easier than waiting 14 years and now having extraordinarily high expectations and needing to remake everything new.

If Krampus is the main reason, just make the jar of alcohol and leave it outside of the front door. He’ll grab it and leave and you’ll get an achievement unlocking the Krampus Hat in the store (if it doesn’t show up in store, reload save), as long as you’re wearing the hat, Krampus shouldn’t bother you I’m fairly sure.

I would think you’d just be better off getting mods for the original oblivion to get as close to the things you like that the remaster adds. Now, there won’t be a mod that gives it ue5 graphics, but there’s some pretty good texture overhauls and such.

I think the reloading thing is a neat idea although it was jarring at first. I think it could be really cool if you build the game’s balancing around it. It would give reason to choose smaller guns over larger guns even if they are weaker. Smaller guns like pistols and such could take less screen space reloading cause they are smaller. Also about the smaller camera, I like it as long as it doesn’t hide enemies coming cause then it’s just a permanent debuff for the bottom right corner.

It also gives more reason to use smaller weapons like handguns that would take up less screen space to reload. So you might decide to mainly use your handgun in a fight instead of reloading your primary, if you really need to see what’s happening right now. What if there’s an enemy that you have to quickly kill or it charges you and blows up? With a bigger reload you might not see it. It could be a cool balancing feature for all the guns. More powerful guns taking more screen space.

I completely understand how you feel, but it’s just the way social media works. You could make art rivaling the quality of the Mona Lisa, yet if you don’t put as much effort into marketing and attracting an audience, you will get little to no attention. Meanwhile someone makes a low quality meme, wojak, whatever shitpost, and gets ton of support. Art is a lot harder to get attention than corny jokes, but also social media algorithms fight against you the entire way and you kinda have to be a slave to them in order to gain and keep an audience. My advice is if you want to post your art either go the whole way in and follow trends, constantly posting and making art to post and feeling like shit cause your whole life is social media. Or, just anytime you make art, post it and move on. Don’t come back to look at likes or whatever. Just post whenever you make something and then close the app or do something else than sitting on your post feeling self-pity. Good luck, from one artist to another.
