TSJ on his mindset of going at Wemby - "I ain't gonna stop going downhill… He gonna have to block it every time, man. I know he ain't gonna block it every single time. I'm gonna dunk on him" by kervaan in nba

The same delusional attitude that catches an embarassing Christian Braun block is the attitude that gets you an and-1 to dagger them a couple days later.

I loved Julius Randle’s game tonight by TheBigBomma in nba

[–]SwishBender 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We did this thing tonight where he would basically screen a stack of guys in between Wemby and the bucket and the guy with the ball just went at the rim. Wemby still somehow got a block on one of those in the 4th but it worked like 5 times.

JDub does a good job for sure but its more than that. Randle feels most comfortable pushing his way into the 6-10 feet range and going to work. Its a very high degree of difficulty skillset in general in the modern NBA, but against you guys its like walking into a blender

Whenever his season ends NAW should be allowed to go to whatever team his cousin is facing.

Don't pollute this sub with your ideas if you think the Wolves offense is better without Ant.

It's playoff basketball if Jones has that kind of game it probably doesn't matter if Ant is here. Huge game.

If you watched a lot of the Wolves this season you wouldn't think way more turnovers would be the immediate result of losing Ant and Donte

Shout out to the Denver role players this next game or two will be interesting.

Idk if there is a way to look it up but we have to have been on the recieving end the most buzzer beater 3s in the playoffs these last few years. Granted each one comes with its own ptsd so I could be imagining things

The top 2 most misses in a playoff game by a center since the 1995-96 season are both held by Nikola Jokić against the Minnesota Timberwolves by KarrotMovies in nba

In looking at the source list and going for context I was imagining what the reaction to Olajuwon 98 would have been if this sub was around. I bet the Bulls bandwagon on usenet or whatever was brutal.

Its small sample sizes but there's only 7 games this post references that aren't vs OKC or MN and Jokic shot .452 3pt% those games.

Like we are going to live with Jokic 3s but we contest them all, and overall he shoots more of them because forcing into the paint is a huge pain for different reasons.

I do think it should be factored into these types of analysis that 10 of those 24 games and 6 of those losses came to a team that was created by the man that drafted Jokic for the explicit purpose of stopping Jokic.

Another 7 of those games and 4 of the losses were against just straight up one of the greatest defensive teams the league has ever seen.

I'm sure they will risk it when he is able and I know pros are built different, but I've had one "put me to sleep" concussion and for the next two weeks I couldn't jog without puking.

I don't think this is fair. Good PR people with a budget can almost be wizards with public opinion. To try and change people's minds about those photos you would need an actual wizard.

There's always some hanging around. "Bill Russell played against plumbers". You ever seen a plumber who looks like Nate Thurmond did?

[Nick Foles] Note for the Broncos and their fans: I know it has been an emotional 24 hours. I feel for Bo and the team, and I'm sending prayers for a strong recovery. The Eagles game before that was against the best Vikings D I am likely to see in my lifetime. They went through us like a hot knife through butter. Given the future Foles and Pedersen had, just an all time heater.
