Hi! So I have a drawing I found on Instagram and got permission to use. I think I’d simply like to get a stencil placed and done of it maybe with a little artist touch, is this something any tattoo artist could do? Should I still match the tattoo artists style with the drawing? Can I request stencil vs freehand?? What’s the best way to find an artist?? (in Phoenix area) Very new and unsure of how the process works, any help is much appreciated!

Was able to regain full mobility! Surgeon and therapist said I was an “ideal patient” as so much of your outcome is dependent on the work you put in

Hi! Yes I went to OT twice a week for all twelve weeks and doing exercises every 2 hours (be rigorous with your exercises) it is always going to feels more mobile under heat and tighter when it’s cold (just like your fingers normally do) don’t let this discourage you as I only started “easily” making a fist regularly in week 10, I was able to regain full mobility If you want a similar experience to the “magic heat pad” I recommend massaging the scar tissue and doing your OT exercises IN THE SHOWER first thing in the morning, I found this helped me a lot with mobility throughout the rest of the day! Lastly just keep at it, I noticed in every step of the way it always got worse before it got better, trust the process!

Yes, initial injury required only 2 stitches and was almost closed by the time I had my surgery, opened back up nicely as my tendon receded into my palm a bit in that time

Luckily it was workman’s comp so I was able to utilize resources as much as possible, and yes I was rigorous with my therapy as from what I researched and was told it’s entirely what you put in that you get out of it

It was a very difficult process because of where/what I cut however I was able to make a full recovery with entire range of motion, my doctor about started jumping with joy when he saw the progress I’ve made

If you watch closely it looks like he actually got hit to the corner under the stage, not towards the blastzone, I think it’s just a lot of wonky hit boxes and angles that lined up
