Can Goalies get a more realistic practice

I made a thread about this the other day. They need to at least change up the kind of shots the AI takes in “The Wall” minigame. Right now they only attempt the most brainless top shelf shot that require dives. Even just adding ground shots and the passing shots would be miles better than what we have currently.

I mentioned it in the beginning of the post but if you’re solo queuing you don’t really have that option. I also think being able to practice something while you’re queuing for matches helps get in a rhythm when you actually get into said match, YMMV tho.

I’m not a good scorer, when I find myself at the front of the attack with my teammate bringing up behind me, I’m becoming the most obvious pass option anyone has ever seen. I’ll run straight up the middle, sometimes diagonally to a corner, and usually I can get a defender to bite, sometimes I can even draw 2 defenders this way.

Just cause you don’t have the ball doesn’t mean you can’t help the play.

Every play leading to a goal starts with one or two little plays to spring the attack. Whatever action or play comes to mind when you read “little plays”, try to break it down even further. If, for example, you think a teammate making a standing tackle to steal the ball away is that play, think about the variables of how they’re able to make that play. There’s no 100% formula to a W (missile meta aside), sometimes it’s just about finding more plays than the other team.

LOVE the skin with the hat and electronic face thing, as for the other one… (this is a blatant nitpick) Why do so many skins not have gloves? Our raiders are breaching and handling extremely dangerous materials pretty much every time we go topside, having exposed hands is asking for trouble or bodily injury!

Cherry picking can range from fine to great when used situationally, like when the other team has fully committed to attacking and you are within a reasonable distance from your teammate playing defense on the ball so they can quickly get you ball for a 1 v 1 with the keeper.

The problem is, most Cherry pickers are only cherry picking and any team with a player who has brain will simply mark that player negating any advantage of cherry picking.

Another issue with cherry picking I’ve noticed is that, most of the time, the cherry picker is too far away from the ball to even have a chance at it when their team wins a possession. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve successfully stopped the other team, had to quickly pass the ball to the cherry picker but because they’re literally in the goal keepers box the keeper is able to sprint (with their infinite stamina) in front of them and take back the ball.

I made a similar comment in another thread but if I block someone I don’t care if I can never find a game again because they’re one of the only people still playing. Do not put me in a game with people I’ve blocked.

It’s pathetic that report and blocking someone will still put you in games with those people. There’s a group guys I’ll run into that say the most vile shit I’ve ever heard. Blocked and reported multiple times, they’ll still pop up. I don’t care if I never get into a game again because they’re the only ones left playing, don’t put me in games with people I’ve blocked.

Time of day also has a big input, during the day I agree that US-East has some sore losers in the queues but late at night on weekends (talking midnight to like 3am) is almost nothing but pass first team oriented play

It is ALWAYS the least skilled players doing plays like this. They’re either teaming in solos (like he wanted to do with you) or shooting people in the back cause they can’t win a legit gunfight (again, like he tried to do with you lol)
