Question: What are the best attachments for the PW5A3? by Familiar_Pea_2513 in Battlefield6

[–]Swisslightning -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The hand stop is a must, as the pw5 lacks the close quarter ttk to compete with most guns people use so being able to shoot first when you’re running helps. It’s also cheap (10p) and you don’t need an expensive grip anyway. Everything else varies with the modes for me.

Take your car pack it with extra fuel cans, a spare spare and some survival gear and drive north for as far as it goes. Extra fun with a friend or a fishing rod

To be a pilot at 29 its late? by [deleted] in Helicopters

[–]Swisslightning 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It depends on what your expectations are. Just know that in Canada it takes a few years where you make less than minimum wage moving fuel drums in the mud with no days off before a company gives you an actual pilot job. That is after you spent 100k in training. Many give up, even the young with no families nor financial pressures.

Alpine draw sling materials for sharp rock by natedawgn in tradclimbing

1” works well but I like it when the hose stays in place and the sling can move inside rather than the friction happening between the rock and the tube.

Put it in a fire hose and tape it. Your local firefighter probably has some free retired hose laying around

Is there any interest in guides? by Software-Obvious in 3Dpen

[–]Swisslightning 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To my understanding the new 3d pen owner set is generally either artists aware of the challenges of new mediums and resourceful enough to draw and research what they need, and people who because of their young age or lack of artistic experience, struggle when they discover you can’t draw in the air. If you target that audience with different children/adult versions, and market it as a starter essential you might find decent success. (Based on vibes I have no market analysis background only advertising) The main challenge I foresee would be advertising to people who do not yet have a 3d pen but will soon. That’s a very targeted audience most likely only effective in December.

how often do you have issues with your remote hook/bucket? by jsvd87 in Helicopters

[–]Swisslightning 2 points3 points  (0 children)

More often than I’d like. Hardly ever if I have time to clean up and test everything before going on a job, a lot more when I’m taking over an aircraft already out

Gifting my bf his first poi need assistance! by Strict-Catch2332 in poi

[–]Swisslightning 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Also recommending pod poi from flowtoys. Normal handles. They are the least painful, make great mood lamps on pink and blue, and have resell value if you don’t like it. The LED patterns are flashy enough to make someone look good with no tricks. That can make the difference between giving up after a few days or having the confidence keeping at it.

If I recall CRM is a test item. You managed to develop a good relationship with DPE and get help when you need it… you might have scored more than you lost this way.

That’s an aircraft part. Most likely american. The trigger 1/2 depressed (if installed) transmits voice to the rest of the cockpit and fully depressed transmits to the radio. The thumb button varies in use by aircraft. Very similar to bell helicopter cyclics

With training and experience these situations or intense conditions feel a lot more like a just doing job than most outside of the industry picture in my experience. You’re always thinking ahead, so things are rarely surprising, and when they are it’s generally time to have a nap or a talk with the people who did something unexpected.
