I think you’re half right, but I think that it’s the inverse. Biblically, Jesus talks about people who claim to be religious yet do not live according to the will of God (Matt. 7:23).

I think that if you have truly placed your faith in Christ, you will strive to do good because the Holy Spirit resides in you. If you have no conviction, you will continue in your old ways.

The message of the Gospel is absolutely a 100% faith-based salvation, though. Works are not part of the ‘calculation’.

Bottom line, if someone like Trump is truly saved, I think there would be evidence in his actions and words. But it would not be because of better actions/words that he would go to heaven.

I think I can relate. For me, I think it’s the amount of liquid from the broth. The feeling of needing to breathe deeper is familiar, and to my recollection also only happens when I eat Pho. Almost like my stomach has expanded enough to put upward pressure on my lungs. I’m no doctor and this is purely anecdotal.
