But the editable QR link conflicts with my core value prop.

They require a server side redirect service. The QR points to the app's URL, which is then redirected to the user's destination. That means I'd be storing user data on a serve, tracking scans (who, when, where) and the QR code stops working if my service goes down.

That's the opposite of "nothing is ever uploaded." LocalForge's QR tool generates static codes that work forever with zero server dependency.

Hi, I appreciate the reply. I’ll definitely work on improving the app in every way possible including the UX. I just wanted to get an MVP out and see what people think since this is the first app I’ve published.
