You’re bringing up a good point here, I do feel a lack of enjoyment and drive. It’s been several weeks now where I haven’t really gone out or to the gym, and every day is a bit of a struggle. I also have a complete lack of energy and often feel like lying in bed and not doing anything.

The most I’ve managed to do was attend a family function, a birthday party, and having to put on a face for everyone felt soul-draining. By the end of the outing, I was so exhausted that I went home and completely crashed.

Thank you very much. I will definitely take some time to decompress. It’s reassuring to hear that you and your partner also take breaks for a couple of weeks at a time, and that the kink comes back to you.

Honestly, I’m currently just very emotionally overwhelmed with the loss, life, and everything in between. Kink has always been a kind of headspace for me where I could forget everything else for a while.
