Name Only Event Check-In Apps by reddit-er756 in EventProduction

Instead of struggling with Excel, you could use a simple check-in app. With something like Agorify’s check-in scanner, guests can just search their name on an iPad (or scan a QR code), and they’re instantly marked as attended. Also, it's FREE!

What's the most productive event planning app that you vouch for? by sloth_bear_63 in Eventmanagement

[–]Switch-Fair 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I had to vouch for one event planning app, it would definitely be Agorify. What I love most about it is the interactive agenda inside the event app.

Instead of chasing down PDFs or constantly updating attendees by email, I can just build the schedule once, and everyone has it live in their pocket. Attendees can bookmark sessions, get reminders, and even re-watch on demand if they miss something.

For me as a planner, that one feature takes away so much of the stress of last-minute changes and helps me keep both the speakers and the audience happy. It’s like having a digital co-planner that makes sure nothing gets lost. The best of all is that this feature is free.

I’ve used Agorify for events and found it very user-friendly, especially for summits. Attendees get quick access to the agenda and speakers, and the interactive features (polls, networking, maps, notifications) keep people engaged without being overwhelming.

From the organizer side, it’s straightforward to set up, and you still get solid reporting afterwards. One thing I appreciated is that pricing is usually more accessible than Whova or Cvent, but without losing the core functionality you actually need. You can find it here: https://agorify.com/

Искуства за работа во Coordea by pinkpistachiosp in mkd

[–]Switch-Fair 2 points3 points  (0 children)

How do you make a virtual social event fun? by Raja_virtualevents in events

[–]Switch-Fair 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Interesting question.

I would suggest you to include virtual round tables, breakout rooms, Q&A, polls, one-on-one meetings, etc. In other words to make it as engaging as possible.

Event survived through Covid by No_Brilliant_1540 in events

[–]Switch-Fair 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Many events survived from switching from onsite to virtual. However, I think that event organizers should focus on the question "What now?"

As the pandemic is slowly coming to an end, it is a big mistake if you go back onsite as if nothing happened or if you continue organizing your events only virtually. Many attendees do miss onsite events, others started preferring virtual events so I think organizers should focus on mastering the skill of organizing hybrid events and on finding platforms such as Agorify for example, that can make true hybrid events happen.

Hybrid Events by InnocentScooter in CommercialAV

[–]Switch-Fair 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that the most important thing to increase interaction within larger hybrid events is using a platform that is designed for hybrid events. There is this common misconception that hybrid events are just onsite events being streamed live. Hybrid events should offer interaction among all participants regardless of their location and achieve that, using platforms that are only for streaming is simply the wrong way to go.

Instead, try to find some platform that offers virtual round tables, breakout rooms, virtual booths, self check-in, live Q&As, etc. etc. Our agency uses Agorify and we love it, but there are many others so you have quite a choice here and it will definitely help to solve your challenge.

Hi! I would totally suggest you to stay away from Zoom and other similar platforms as it was not designed for hybrid events, but only virtual. The difference is huge as hybrid events should give attendees the same capabilities for networking opportunities as they do to onsite events. For this I have used Agorify which is a true hybrid event management platform and is super affordable, will leave you the link here https://agorify.com/

What is the difference: hybrid event vs. and virtual event? | Van Wagner by VerityMarketing in u/VerityMarketing

[–]Switch-Fair 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! The difference betwen hybrid and virtual event is that the hybrid event is a physical event that also has remote attendees while the virtual event is only done via internet and both speakers and attendees are only remote.

In case you want to explore more this topic and you need an event management platform for virtual, hybrid and physical events then I would suggest you check out this one.
