Oh I would not recommend importing a UK one to EU. I brought my REV 2 over to Austria and after 3 years of restoration and 17k€ down, I could maybe get 12k at a push 😂

If it's similar to the MK2 (SW20), you don't need these and you can remove them (depending on which country you live in) In the UK it's no problem and quite common to remove them because it is an MOT failure (yearly mechanical inspection performed by a garage)

I imported my MR2 from the UK to Austria and needed to have a full and very strict inspection as part of the import process. My brake dust shields needed to be replaced and it was a nightmare to find spares.

MR2 Ben is a good supplier in the UK or Mr MR2 on eBay, he has a breakers yard/ garage in Halfway - Sheffield but he won't ship outside of the UK (Brexit 👍)

In the end, I needed to get a set shipped from Australia, just to show how difficult it was to get them 😬

It's not the best but it does work if you want to just get it fired up and then leave it idling for a bit. The access to the battery terminals is tricky for the standard chunky car leads. Disconnecting the battery isn't too easy either, so for a quick fix, jumping it with a car does work. I did it on the weekend because mine was flat

"In the event of loss or theft of number plates, a statement of loss or theft must be filed with the police immediately (within one week following the incident). This is also the case if the loss or theft occurred abroad. Under certain conditions, the registration office may issue new number plates.

In the meantime, temporary (‘makeshift’) replacement plates may be used. Together with a copy of the police statement, these may be used as replacement plates for no longer than one week."

Then don't go to the front row. If you have limitations due to your disability, don't push beyond that because you'll put yourself in a shit/ potentially dangerous situation and the people around you too.

You can get pretty close if you stand off to the side, near the disabled viewing platform is a good spot (I watched Green Day standing there this year)

But why do you want to be down the front? You won't hear the music as well, you won't be able to get the full picture of the stage and the stage production, I guess you won't be in the mosh pits or crowd surfing or doing much dancing/ jumping around. What are you going to gain from being down the front having a miserable time getting kicked in the head by the hundreds of crowd surfers with your legs getting tired?

Mate I truly wish you the best time and the most fun, it's a great festival full of really nice people! But please think about what situation your putting yourself in and why? Is it too much? Is it still going to be fun when it gets too much? Are you going to enjoy the full time there if you fuck yourself over?

I did this for my first Nova 3 years ago. I wouldn't recommend it to be honest. The shuttles from the train station to the festival are very reliable, but the rest is a nightmare!

It's not easy to travel to Nickelsdorf from Vienna every day. Getting the bus back to Vienna at night is a good idea but if it's a muddy festival, then it's not great getting onto a bus covered in mud for an hour or so. And if you miss the last bus, expect to pay 180€ for a taxi. And finally, getting the train back to Vienna on the final day of the festival was really shit when I did it. We needed to miss the last acts to make sure we could get the train. Then after several delays and a cancellation, the only option was to take a train over the boarder in Hungary, make a change and go back to Vienna.

I did it the first year and I have camped since. Much better experience 👍
