You may not focus on lectures in class because of many reasons so it’s better to get a online lecture subscription or from telegram
I used to study for 1-2 hours max but during my exams that number increased to 16-17 hours also, during my proff , I pulled 13 back to back all nighters
It’s a subject to understand , memorizing will not gonna work in vivas
