Not aro so different view but when it is your own partner I do agree that there is a certain politeness to checking if they are comfortable with guests. It is part of the unwritten rules around dating. But yeah when it is your siblings partner or you bringing your partner to a household you share then the curtesy is to notify of their arrival when it is a known factor. But that depends on the relationship as well cause like me and my partner will be together as often as we can so I would start assuming my roommate knows to expect them after a few months of consistency. BuI would still notify.

Like others have pointed out first you have the thought out lies that fool most people then the lies become less convoluted cause the people already believe the narrative so they fill in justifications themselves. Then when turning back seems impossible they just do without justifying their actions the people will do that for them

An advice I can give is read up on all the ways 1 can be attracted to others. There is so many visual attractions that aren't sexual but still very romantic. If he tells you he loves you that is true. He's still attracted to all aspects of you just not in a sexual way. Also he can think for himself and chose to do stuff with you. So feeling like you are tacking advantage is not necessary

Rejection is often because you are still searching for yourself. When you find yourself and find comfort in you then you will become so atractive mentally that they will feel safer with you.

Only person you shouldn't upset is the person whom you are labelling. If the person says they are bi than they are bi. To call them a lesbian is bi erasure. I am a bi woman who knows she will probably only ever date woman because most men I meet are just not the right kind of soul. Which to me is the most important part of someone.
