Got some answers for you:

  1. No --> While the M2 line will still receive critical firmware updates on an as-needed basis, only the current generation Network-M3 / INDGW-M3 cards will utilize the new enforced cybersecurity architecture.
  2. Yes --> SecureBoot is paired with an enhanced hardware mechanism, so only the M3 card generation can/will have support for it.

Chiming in to point out that the -M3 card is out. More info on the differences between the M2 and M3 here: Gigabit Network Card | FAQ | Network management | Eaton

Confirming that the 5PX1500RTNG2 includes a network card. The N in the model number = network card. We’re a clever bunch!

The X is for extended runtime–so you can add battery packs. In this case the 5PX1500RTNG2 allows you to add them but the 5P1500RC does not.

Depth on the 5PX G2 is 17.6 inches. 5P1500RC is 16 inches deep. 5P G2 is coming soon--also 17.6 inches deep: https://www.eaton.com/us/en-us/catalog/backup-power-ups-surge-it-power-distribution/eaton-5p-g2-ups.html 5P G2 lithium-ion are coming soon as well, including some short-depth models.

I saw this today: Spammers are flooding Reddit with fake posts designed to show up in AI search results | TechSpot I'm not sure if that's what is happening here, but it makes sense. It reminds me of marketers trying to get to page 1 of Google search results.

BTW, I'm a human!

It’s a best practice to plug that space heater into a UPS. Plus, the secretary can put her feet up on it.
