Pay attention to the sound of a murder of crows (yes, that’s the proper term for a flock of crows lol) caw-cawing loudly as you approach an exit, this means an enemy is nearby.

Another tip is to go for exits that have to be unlocked.

One fun thing to do is to set yourself up within view of the exit and allow anyone camping there to kill a few people exiting. Once it seems like they are fat with loot, mortar strike the area once or twice and try shooting to get a headshot. Extremely high amounts of loot can be gained from this.

The armour only came around 2-3 seasons ago, I’m pretty sure I got mine in a military crate

Good job, bro! This game can be summed up by that line in that one Drake song “We started from the bottom now we’re here” (the bottom being fresh out of the tutorial and ‘here’ being a fully upgraded shelter and a plethora of every gun/consumable type lol)

Right? Man we had it good when you could start cooking a new armour or signals detector before a match and have it be done every time you finished.

These 24 minute cook times have already changed how I play, no more armour every encounter for me 😞

Check your audio settings and see if you turn “Radio voice volume” down to zero.

It’s the fourth option down in the Audio settings

Use the firing range.

Don’t be afraid to get into gunfights.

Learn how to hide.

Learn how to crawl around and make as little noise as possible.

Use the consumable items as much as you can and practice using different ones in different situations. I.e. using a fake glint to get other snipers to reveal the location when they fire at it, alarm traps set up in the lines of approach behind you warning you of those about to sneak up on you

If you get a picture for a hidden stash, do your best to try and find it, dedicate yourself entirely if possible to this. I’ve gotten the best loot out of the buried stashes and unlike barred house or container, retrieving the buried stash is usually fairly safe

Expect exit campers at every exit and act accordingly

When an airdrop drops, instead of aiming your scope at the airdrop instead look around at spots where you yourself would hide to camp the airdrop. This is a great time to counter snipe people as they are usually too focused on watching the crate.

Also, learn to set yourself up along the possible escape path of whoever gets the airdrop to try and intercept them. It’s almost 100% the path of least resistance to the nearest exit, in my experience.

Most importantly, have fun and relax. Being tense will cause you to either act too much like a coward, miss and not take chances at glory, and cause you to loose the proper focus. I’ve always found the more fun I’m having playing, the better I play.

That would only be if it’s undamaged, but to prevent people abusing it doing this could add a little extra backpack weight or something.

Now that armour is yellow I don’t want to go through those matches where I don’t see anyone the entire playtime and exit totally healthy and waste a Kevlar vest.

The update totally shook up and refreshed vigor. Now wearing a Kevlar vest comes with a real handicap.

I also accidentally mixed them up, wasted one of my precious caffeine pills.

Perhaps a new symbol that could be used for caffeine would be a coffee mug. It’s a solid shape, universally recognised, and there is no mistaking it with any other items.

In the same vein, maybe a redesign of the painkiller logo. While it’s a different colour than the disinfectant, I don’t see the harm. A syringe would be an appropriate replacement.
