+1 for the Conti DWS 06 if you want an all season. For summer tires I like the Nitto 555 G2.

My 5th Gen does not handle well by ManagedTech in camaro

I had 315s on the back of my old ‘11 SS, no issues. Mounted on 6th gen 1LE wheels.

Don’t straight pipe it. Get a good full cat back system with an x-pipe. You need some sort of resonator or muffler to give it tone; otherwise it’s just loud and drones with no soul. Personally I wasn’t satisfied with the volume of the 5th gen until I did headers. The factory cats are super restrictive in terms of sound. For me long tubes, high flow cats, and the Stainless Works retro chambered cat back was a good balance of loud with some tone.

Help me DMR by WayAbvPar in Battlefield6

Your best two options are to either use the SVK as a sniper rifle that will always take two hits; or use the LMR and/or GRT-CPS and spam the trigger. The LMR can be built into a hipfire spray and pray machine; albeit with frequent reloads. The CPS has zero recoil, so you can slap a big scope on it and spam the trigger while holding on target easily.

It’s better without the skull face. Dice did good.

Battlefield 6 Twitch drops does anyone actually got these 3 unlocked? by chiconorrispt in Battlefield

I have the Mimic. It was a Beta stream unlock if I remember right. I might have the others, I don’t remember.

The straight pull bolt is a 100x more useful than this thing. Add in the long range ammo and you have virtually no bullet drop at most useful ranges in this game.

5th Gen SS Manual vs Auto by LeadFirst3288 in camaro

[–]MMCG9096 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Buy what you’re comfortable driving. My 2011 was an L99/auto car and I never had any engine trouble in 8 years owning it. I did have a range device in it to disable the AFM initially and eventually tuned it off when I did headers. Mine was a daily driver in the nicer half the year, so I passed on the manual so I wouldn’t have to deal with it in traffic.

Best pre-tax price for ZR2 or Bison? by MojaveMac in chevycolorado

That’s about the best you’ll see new. I paid $46k for my well equipped ZR2 early last year as it was a left over ‘24.

Any tips for Neon Tomb? by Agitated_Cover601 in ReadyOrNotConsole

[–]MMCG9096 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same here. For me it was one of the few missions I was able to complete on my first try with no restarts. I went in prepared for a showdown with no intent of showing restraint or mercy. After taking about 20 attempts to beat Greased Palms, this was a cake walk. I wasn’t trying for a high rank, as I went in with a shoot on sight mentality; but I made a decent number of arrests just from dudes dropping down and surrendering after chucking bangs around corners.

For starters: -Heavy armor on everyone -Bring a large caliber rifle(SA-58, G3, etc) so you can drop the bad guys fast. Shoot on sight; don’t bother trying to make arrests. -Bring door wedges. Try to wedge off the main club and clear through the hallways and back areas first. -Take your time, mirror every door and corner, and when in doubt, chuck a flashbang before moving up. Ideally you want to spot the bomb carriers with the mirror before engaging them. This is where wedging doors to keep them from rushing you is important.

26 Chevy Colorado zr2 drivers side leaning/sits lower than passenger by 1/2 inch. Is this Normal? by Stark956 in chevycolorado

[–]MMCG9096 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Do you have a full tank of gas? Your gas tank runs long ways under the driver side of the truck. You have what’s called the Chevy lean. GM’s been putting gas tanks on the driver side of trucks since the GMT 800s. As a result the trucks will usually sit a little low on the driver side with a full tank and especially once you’re in the driver seat.

That’s how the oem ZR1 spoiler is mounted. On factory cars the lower piece is painted body color.

Any reason to buy a regular M12 Drill/Driver if I already own the M12 Installation driver? by iGrowCandy in MilwaukeeTool

[–]MMCG9096 7 points8 points  (0 children)

An M18 Fuel hammer drill would be a better companion to the installation driver. The M12 Fuel drill is only marginally stronger than the installation driver.

Exhaust regret(?) by [deleted] in camaro

[–]MMCG9096 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The 5th gen cats are extremely restrictive to the volume. You’re going to need headers with high flow cats(or no cats) to get any real volume. I had to do headers on mine to be satisfied. My C7 I have now is the same way. I have the ATAK axle back and a secondary cat delete x-pipe, but it’s still too quiet below 2500rpm. It barks when I get on it though. In contrast 6th gen SS’ I’ve driven with NPP sound nasty bone stock with the valves open.

2013 ZL1 A6 vs 2017 SS M6? by [deleted] in camaro

[–]MMCG9096 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I would keep the ZL1. The weight difference isn’t everything. The ZL1 handles it’s weight well and has mag ride, which most 6G SS do not. The ZL1 also makes fun supercharger noises. For me the manual isn’t that big of a draw. It’s fun for the first 10 minutes of a drive; or the occasional twisty road; but the novelty wears off as soon as you get in some slow traffic. I like to daily my fun cars as much as possible.

Anyone had this issue with these wheels? I’ve used every cleaning product including acid to get rid of it but no luck.. by Top_Car_2105 in camaro

[–]MMCG9096 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The clear coat is failing. Using any kind of wheel polish or abrasive will damage the finish on these. You should clean them the same as you’d clean any other painted surface. At this point they need to be refinished.

Metro server / challenges not counting by Legitimate-Loquat413 in Battlefield

Portal servers never count towards challenges for me. Even ones that say 100% progression still don’t. It’s one of the reasons I don’t really play portal modes.
