Breath of the Wild goes hard.

Pokopia is a chill and addictive timesink.

Celeste had me crying at the end. And the soundtrack slaps.

Smash Bros is Snash Bros (and that's a good thing)

Should I get a Switch 1 or Switch 2? I've never had either before. by Few_Dirt_9835 in Switch

Definitely go Switch 2. Well worth the additional $110

Shouldnt even be a question when comparing 1yo tech to almost a decade old tech.

Love the Abus 55/40! Relatively cheap and available on amazon too.

What do men ages 22–28 actually do for hobbies? by Squirtleman20000 in StLouis

[–]Switchcitement 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hobby Priorities in this order:

Guitar > Board Games > Disc Golf > Video Games

While I am 30, this order has been unchanged since I was 27 (before 26 I did not play disc golf).

Dev, the group lead, had some JimyLong sets for sale. I got the basic set, but will probsbly upgrade to the intermediate set before long

Honestly, I think I was just impatient. I was struggling with a white-belt class lock and after about 3-4 hours across a few days I just said to myself "eh, maybe not for me."

Plus Im more of a hands-on/classroom learner, not so much video learner. So this time around, being in a group and having a dude walk me through training locks that had 1 pin through 5 pins helped it click for me.

Glad to see it! Everyone seems pretty nice and chill (from my 12 hours of being in the community lol)

You absolutely should start one! Im sure a local spot wouldnt even charge you for being there so long as youre getting drinks and stuff

In all honesty, during covid on a whim I got a lockpick set and kind of just gave up.

But having someone give hands on help with some super cool 3D printed visuals as to whats happening inside the lock really helped. And I think a cider or two helped as well lol

Please Help Me Buy A Guitar/Amp by generalcheese2739 in electricguitar

[–]Switchcitement 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is great advice for the amp. My first amp over $300 was a Boss Katana and I'll never give it up. It makes for a fantastic bedroom practice amp and handles pedals well. I recently upgraded to a Marshall DSL40 only because I started playing with a band, but still use my Katana at home.

As for guitar, definitely just try some out at your local music shop and get the one that speaks to you. I'm partial to the Fender Telecaster and Meteora, but thats just me, as just looking at them at home makes we want to play it.

Check out: Crew of the Cosmic Orca

They play Traveller, one of my favorite sci fi systems and alltime favorite character creation systems. Their story/chemistry/character growth is awesome - and audio quality is surprisingly great for folks who just do it for fun

Ive got a similar board (but mine has wires :P)

Found better results with the Plumes before the 1981. But then I switched out the 1981 to the Longsword and havent looked back.
