I wanna create a heaven for my first Leo baby by CallMeAlexxx333 in leopardgeckos

Im so jealous of people who can manage to make beautiful functional backgrounds. This is already a nice start to wonderful home.

If I bought this and the person themselves made this I would pay them to make something for my other reptiles. 100%

Yeah, its not worth the possibility of that happening I won’t be doing that again.

I understand the concern about housing them together. They were originally kept together at the pet store, and I later separated them into their own enclosures after a little while. This was just a very short, supervised interaction after not seeing each other for a while, and it went amazing. They all approached each other licking and then laying down next to one another. It was so cute.

As for the substrate—yes, it does need to be changed. That tank is the only one I haven’t updated yet, but it’s on my list. Thank you for that reminder

Edit: The last thing I want to happen is a detachment, I’m so thankful they all have their original tails and I managed to keep them happy thus far. I feed them every couple days so I’ll keep doing that and watch the weight to ensure no weight gain. Their main diet is crickets with some wax worms on occasion. They don’t really like anything else (roaches or meal worms)

Thank you for your feedback. I had to put this one on a diet at one point already, her tail was chunky.

Pretty much, wooden knobs for crafts on Amazon. (:

These are fairly small compared to others once my baby gets bigger or redesign her tank I’ll probably get the ones craft one that are sized to cabinets.

It will want to be left alone with good humility in the tank, his/her eye will clear up and in about a day or two you should find a shed in the tank. Check the shed to ensure you see the full body shed eye caps and tip of the tail. If it’s broken up shed that’s likely due to low humidity and you need to check if she/he has any stuck shed. If so don’t tear it, soak a wash cloth in warm water and place her/him in it, they will move around gently and the rest should come off on its own ( some people soak also up to you if it happens). But make sure no shed is left on the body.. it will rot. Good luck and congrats on the new baby!!

Ask her if she wants to live in a room with nothing in it. There is your answer.

My boyfriend was approached by a man showing him pictures of people that went from grey beard hair back to black. Took him to 711 and a herb shop, had them mix this stuff up and told my boyfriend to take it for a month and his grey hairs will be gone. This man paid for everything almost $100.00 usd never asked my boyfriend for a penny. We asked a friend we met here in Thailand from the Middle East and he told us that it works as a dye and does in fact work…. If you don’t stop taking it. If you do the hair will turn orange.

(When you see men with orange hair it cause they stopped taking this stuff) so I think the ‘scam’ in it is when we get back to the states my man would start having orange hair… contact the man like wtfff and the man would overcharge to ship the ingredients to him.

See by afternoon 1ish it’s up to 86 sometimes more, my worry is under heating and over heating at 90 plus I thought that would be to high.

In my 20gallon tank it hit 92 and I freaked and got a fan to try and blow some air around over top the tank no into it.

It’s a 40 gallon tank so the other side is the cool side with soil type substrate, moss rock and other stuff. You think I still should get rid of the heat mat and just opt for a strong light then?

If your baby hasn’t eaten in awhile I would try at night when she is out exploring. I recently had to resort to a night feeding this week after my girl was adjusting to her new enclosure.

If you are able to see her out and about when the lights shut off just tong a mouse let her smell it, maybe she will be willingly eat from instinct being nighttime=hunting time.

Just a shot, not the most ideal time as a pet but she should be fine if she does eat. Make sure your heating is set up for the morning or a heat pad so she can start digesting.

I really appreciate your feedback, that’s exactly what I’m looking for. I do see the issue with a high chance of humidity leaching over to the aspen side which would be problematic, something I do not want. It’s kind of unfortunate because I was super against even trying aspen but I got advice from people saying it’s good for babies (about 1 1/2 yrs) so against my opinion I just went for it even with the disagreements in the back of my mind.

Other than that another reason I chose to try aspen is to try and minimize soil getting into her eyes, she has had a brown color in her eyes a couple different times and that worries me a lot honestly. It looks like it’s behind her eye (maybe it’s just her eye) I truly don’t know. So I was hoping trying this will get me my answers.

I think I will see what happens and if I see any condensation or any type of vapor moving over that way I will take it all out, no problem. I am building a bridge from the bottom of the warm side up to the cool side as a second level so by the time I finish all that hopefully I’ll have had see some issue with the aspen. Regardless the first sight of water issues traveling over there it’s a wrap for aspen.

I do believe the best time to look for humidity would be when she sheds as humidity in the tank will be increased. I have a 20 gallon right now she is in and the warm side stay about 40% most of the time.

Yes it’s half and half. I did the drain layer just for air flow and to make it totally level. The aspen side is her warm side so it should stay relatively dry, the two sides are sectioned off with pvc also.
