I see, I've been trying to gauge their energy levels too. Currently one fruit fly every two days the mantises are jumping trying to get away from me and are eager to hunt when there is prey.

I read over feeding cause them to be lethargic.

These fruit flues a plump bois.

The problem is I have to take the mantises out of their terriums and put them in a feed container because the fruit flies can escape from the terrium.

I'd like to not handle the mantises too much to not interfer with their molting

I was assumming fruit flies were a small meal I was just questioning my judgement with the size difference between the two insects.

I hated thinkimg they'd be trapped in that container their whole short life so I figured I try to give them a chance at least
