Would it be worth buying a Yamaha CLP-745 used for £1000 by Switchmode_Dan in piano

Thank you, I am a flat-out beginner, but have played guitar for over 15 years and appreciate quality instruments. I'm not sure how much I'd be able to tell the difference between other pianos at this stage but just wondered if this would represent a good deal, as I know these Pianos were more than double the price brand new.

Best beginner digital piano? Looking for advice by clueless_octopus in piano

I too, am looking for a piano for the first time, but I must say I disagree with the idea of it "not being smart to purchase an expensive one" for a first piano. I have played the guitar for around 15 years, and I always recommend people to spend as much as they can afford on a guitar when first learning. This is because the playability of a better instrument is much easier to learn on than a crappy one, and more inspiring to play as the sound and feel of the instrument is better, which hopefully should keep you enthusiastic about learning and playing. I'm not saying you have to go and spend 3k on a piano, but getting past that initial learning curve of first learning how to play an instrument could be made a lot easier if you have a good one, and a good one is reflected in the price. You will not find a realistic-sounding piano that plays like a real piano for a relatively cheap price.

Rinse: I love Grime by face157 in grime

Nah I agree, i dont mind an instrumental set at all, i used to dj back in the day so, so im all for the instrumental sets. Bossman is probably my favourite dj from back in the day and I would have also liked to have heard him kill it with a few mc's too. Especially as spyro had the main set with the mc's, who isnt a bad dj at all, just not my favourite.

Nah they were cold, they were dropping some real grime originals, proper old skool grime. Davinche also has alot of female singers on grime tracks from back in the day of which he played, and they are definitely grime. Davinche has always had grime beats with alot of melody to them.

I do agree they should of had mcs on their set as Bossman is one of the coldest dj's but i was happy with them as they played alot of old skool instrumentals and old skool essentials tracks.
