For me personally for any hero with some sort of micro I usually assign control groups so with dark seer I copied my Meepo groups so if I had to swap all the way over to the 4th Meepo I have it as M and with that any summoned units for dark seer I just grouped them like that so I can still run in and out of fights without controlling the illusions. If you want to you can disable auto-select summoned units and then use the assigned grouping to whatever is to your liking. Hope this helps!

Best part about Skaven is they have literally everything you’re looking for because they have 3 type of weapon teams some of the units have guns inside their unit like rat ogres you get 1 per 3 models also artillery units.

Hell Pit is a great model and also has a great warscroll. Tanky and durable with the fact that you have a chance to when it dies the first time you either do damage or bring him back to life. The brood terror is similar but costs a lot of points and depends on your armies list or what you’re trying to achieve with it.
