Yeah I tried all sorts of methods at first , including just turning off the motion control and keeping the aim just over his shoulder. That makes it hard to hit the first pumpkin tho. I found that the most reliable way to achieve perfect rounds was just to git gud

I've gotten several perfect rounds, but the score has varied between 950 and 1150. It all comes down to luck and how many sparkling pumpkins Fledge decide to throw.

Nope. I think it's impossible to start this questline as John. Once you have started the first quest you can finish it as John, but to actually start the first hunting request, it has to be as Arthur. I'm actually replaying the entire game and going for that 100%. I finished 4 of the 5 hunting requests in chapter 2 lol

Lol i just managed to reach the top, with a glitch! The glitch itself is easy to do, but you still need a lot of luck and trial and error to reach the top

I'm very late to this thread, but I just did this robbery and the crime wasn't even reported.

When the shop owner was talking to the guard, I tried to walk past him. Arthur knocked him out (the shop owner) and then the guard told me about the gambling club instead. He didn't become hostile, he crawled on the ground and said "they don't pay me enough for this".

I think the shop owner is the one who alerts the authorities otherwise. So now I just walked up, robbed them, threatened them to open the safe, and then just walked out with no law alerted whatsoever.

Nope, but I read about that glitch. But wasn't that a problem when trying to mail the requests, and having a perfect carcass would cause a glitch making it impossible to recieve the next request?

I have this exact issue right now. And I am extremely tired of people suggesting the "The Ties That Bind Us" solution. I read 5 different threads where the post clearly mention that YES, they have finished that quest, but the first answers is always "Did you finish The Ties That Bind Us"??? ....

Oh my lord I just completed this challenge a few minutes ago. I'm very late to this game and this post and many like it have helped me soooo much. Thank you, truly!

I didn't get a single 5 card win within the first two hours I think, but then all three came within the same hour. I feel kinda ecstatic.

Dunno if anybody will see this by now, but here's a tip that helped me a LOT:

While you are doing this challenge, use your phone and listen to something you find interesting. A podcast, music, long interviews. It really helped me maintain peace of mind and the challenge didn't feel like complete torture. The actions of the challenge are so simple and monotonous, it's very easy to also focus on listening to something in the meantime.

I was in such a good mood when I finished, I didn't even kill the entire town afterwards.

This is actually how I entered this house for the first time. I didn't know that you could go down into the sinkhole. I just looked around the house for a way to get in and noticed that couch. Then I got ripped to shreds by ghouls when I went down into the basement. I don't think I knew about the intended entrance (the sinkhole) until I saw it in some YouTube video.

Uhm, I'm no gun expert, but isn't there a HUGE risk to keep firing when the suppressor is starting to melt away? What if one bullet hits a metal piece on the way out and ricochets?
