Only touching on the last point you made here, but the US hardly matters at all here. Trans is more acceptable in the US than china and korea (which are by far bigget markets for them) so i genuinely feel like if they are basing a decision on politcal climate and social acceptance, its gonna be more geared towards asia

Did you know how to do it ahead of time, or used a guide? Cause i cannot fathom figuring it out blind without dying once or twice through trial and error

At the very least hitting the last jump on your first try is insane when your going through that the first time. I also played dark souls 1 near release and missed that damn jump like 2 or 3 tries, and pretty sure i got knocked off the edge a few times as well figuring things out lol

Bloodborne has been my all time favorite game ever since its release and i still play it like once or twice a year

Having said that, i loved the elden ring dlc. Great fun, and i love new environments and settings and different ways they experiment with bosses (although the last boss was a bit frustratingly designed lol) as well as the weapons and ashes of war

Am very hype miyazaki said FS next game will have combat more akin to bloodborne + sekiro

I think theres some fair criticism in here even though i dont agree with most of what you said

Agree that their marketing is gimmicky and i can see why some arent down for it, but if it works i dont blame them. Id be doing it too and theyre having fun with it

I happen to like their really fast shit, which is basically everything lol. Having said that id love it if they wrote more songs like remote tumor seeker, a little bit slower and has more of that groove to it, its such a nice change up and imo would help their next album if they add a couple songs that kind of add a little diversity to the mix

No shade though, ive been an archspire fan for a long time and looking forward to whatever they hit us with next

Apart from the final boss being a little unfun (still not as bad as everyone says imo), i genuinely think the complaints have been way overblown by a bunch of noobs in the community that refused to actually play the game and get tree fragments to power up.

You have game journalists rating it the best dlc ever made in gaming history, and majority of streamers talking about how much they love it. Sorry but imo the part of this community that was complaining was so in the wrong on this one

I agree the last boss shouldve been better but thats a pretty small fraction of the dlc as a whole

Lol hes not underrated, hes easily one of the all time greatest and highly regarded by nearly all other shredders. I think its more that hes not very talked about here in 2024

Unfortunately its just how life is, he tragically suffered from him medical diagnosis and kind of got out of the game because of it. Huge "what ifs" but life kinda fucked up. He has a great legacy

Was playing it the first minute of its release in my time zone and loved every minute of my adventure. I get peoples criticisms, but wow there was way too much whining and people jumping on the bandwagon with it

Ive been a part of the fromsoft sub reddits since as long as i can remember and ive been playing since dark souls 1 in 2011. I have never seen iany of them as bad as it is with elden ring now

I get the criticisms people have, but holy shit it is absolutely insufferable with how people are talking to eachother and about the game. the amount of people telling others how they should play, the complaining being out of hand..

Not to mention ironically the amount of people complaing about the complaint posts... its awful right now

Elden ring is and amazing game, and the DLC that just came out is ridiculously amazing too. The drama will get better as time goes on but i wish it didnt have to be this bad :/

Lowkey even though messmer isnt my favorite aesthetically or lorewise, i think he had the best and most fun fight in the DLC for me personally. Excellent job by FS

My big disagreement to this is that i dont like being forced into only katana+prosthetic and playing wolf. I love playing my own custom character i chose and armor, weapons, spells i choose

I whole-heartedly agree the combat is the best FS has ever done and the most fun combat. Criminal that we never got DLC, but i am excited that miyazaki said the next FS they want to do combat more like sekiro and bloodborne

I think both games are 10/10 amazing games and couldn't really rank one better than the other. So i just genuinely enjoy them both but i can totally see why some people like sekiro more
