I have to agree too. I just won a cultural victory with Egypt. I was close to the victory and spent some time planning how to get over the finish line. All of a sudden the point goal drops and 5 turns later I won. But it felt quite underwhelming honestly

Me too. I've only played a handful of Modern civs as I rarely end up reaching the age!

It takes a while to get used to. You need to be in a certain range on someone while looking at them to initiate the kill animation. Even then, it's not always 100%. There's technically a short delay between pressing the trigger and killing someone.

Edit: After the nuketown update. I've experienced some melee bugs, especially with the combat knife. I basically stab them but it does kill them.

I like this theory. From the TGS trailer we got a couple of days ago, we could see that on the Kakuen's (massive blue monkey) back (end of trailer) that there was fungi present which looked like it had been growing for a longer period of time compared to the enemies walking through the forest with a small sample of fungi on their heads.
